From the tracks to the trails and across the streets in between, Bell has always been trusted to protect riders. In 1954, Bell Helmets founder Roy Richter witnessed first-hand the dangers associated with racing. A racer himself, Richter saw the need for some extra protection, and created his first helmet – the “500.” Business expanded from there, and the company quickly took the head-seat at the table for their innovative and revolutionary look at helmet manufacturing. With their unique perspective and insight into the industry, Bell has continued to develop the products that the riders of today need.
Since its beginning, Bell Helmets has always been focused on how to best protect riders of all ages, sizes, and riding preferences. Their helmets address every aspect of the ride – protection, comfort, and performance. One never has to come at the expense of the other, making Bell’s helmets the most well-rounded and inclusive helmets on the market. Their effective designs, intuitive technologies, and industry-leading construction have set the standard for the rest of the industry to match. All Bell Helmets come standard with MIPS and DOT and ECE certification, along with durable shells, moisture-wicking liners, and varying internal safety features. Bell Helmets are accessible to varying price points and budgets, making the high-performing helmets affordable for all riders.
Today, Bell Helmets still has the same focus and aspirations. The company remains true to its roots while climbing the ladder of innovation. Their helmets are engineered in the name of safety, for all riders of all riding styles. They’re tried-and-true because they’ve been around long enough to be put through every test and ride. Rider owned and rider trusted, Bell is the leading name in the game when it comes to helmet safety, comfort, and performance.

I tried on a lot of other helmets and this one fit the best. I usually wear Arai helmets for street riding and the Shoei put pressure on my forehead. But for the dirt helmets, the Shoei fit the best. Great quality construction and the paint looks great. Rocky Mountain had it on sale for 200 bucks cheaper than Cycle gear. I can't recommend it highly enough.Read All Reviews

Great helmet especially for the price. Comfortable, stays pretty cool and has all removable padding, which every helmet should. Would recommend it to any recreational track or trail rider. If you race seriously I might look into a higher end helmetRead All Reviews

I would write a more extensive review, but I could not get this helmet on my head. I own/owned helmets from AFX, ONeal, Fly Racing, and Leatt. All in XL. Granted. all of those helmets are geared toward a semi-oval head shape, and I believe this one is targeting riders with a rounder head. This helmet in XL seems to be closer to a L. I will revisit my review after trying the XXL in this model.Read All Reviews

What a great price for a helmet with Mips tech. I have two boys that race and anything that can keep them safer out there all the better. I read a lot about Mips and was dead set on getting it in their next helmets. At this price it is affordable considering I'm sure I'll be buying a few more over the years. Shipping was fast to Canada. Thanks Rockey Mountain!Read All Reviews
