  I have torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders. Rough riding usually makes my shoulders hurt for days. Rode rough trails for 4 days with no rush issues after. My shoulders feel extremely supported!!! So glad I purchased this.

  This is a great set of armor. comfortable to wear. I would say as far as size goes it runs a little small. I went with a medium but exchanged for a large. I am 5'9" at about 175lbs with average proportions.

  Tons of protection for an older rider who would like to keep riding and not spend time recovering from injury. Solid protection, though slightly restrictive in the shoulders. Worth it though for the protection. Runs a bit smaller than I expected.

  Great Body Protector

  At 55 y.o I mostly just trail ride now but I still want good protection. This Hybrid Body Protector from Leatt is great. Not too heavy but offers good protection and is not stifling hot. I've had it for over 2 years now and while I don't ride every weekend, it has held up well despite the thin material. I've had a few get-offs and I was well protected and no noticeable damage to the jacket. I'm 5'11", 175lbs, 33" waist, 41" chest. The large fits nicely.

  I use this for downhill mountain biking and dual sport/enduro riding. Its comfortable, and bearable on hot days. breathes as well as body protection can possibly breathe. I took a good fall on my mountain bike and it saved me from a lot of pain. I hit a jump and about 5 feet in the air, I realized my landing area was not looking good, so I bailed. My body slammed shoulder first into the ground, followed by smacking my head( I was wearing a fox MIPS helmet). I got up, and started smiling. I have taken a similar fall with out body protection and I know how much that fall should have hurt, so I couldnt help but smile and chuckle to myself. Money well spent!
