  • Asterisk Zero G Knee Brace Pant

Great design. You may have to go up a size if you d...

I pick these up based on reviews I’ve seen on YouTube. I wanted to get something to help keep my knee braces in place. Based on the reviews I’ve seen, I went up a size rather than what Asterik’s size chart specified. I normally wear a 30 to 32, which according to their size chart would be a medium. However, I went with a large and I’m happy that I did. Although the waist is a bit loose, my legs and backside are a bit larger than average and think the medium size would have been overly tight. I’ve only had a chance to ride in them a couple times but I’m happy with the pants. They do what they’re advertised to do. I did have to play with my knee braces a bit to avoid chafing where the straps are with the pants. No more snagging the mesh when putting on and taking off riding pants. I can’t speak of the durability quite yet, but for the price point, I’m hoping they hold up, as they are a bit steep for “yoga pants” with extra long bell bottom legs and velcro.

Don't get your chamois in a bunch

Overall pretty good. Makes a nice layer between skin and knee pads. The hip and leg pads are well placed for me. My one complaint is the size (thickness and width) of the chamois pad is too much and bunches just a little uncomfortably in a standing position for me. A narrower and thinner chamois pad would have earned these a 5 star. Maybe it will get better after a wash and some more use, still better than riding without it.

    not worth the $$

Have over 100hrs in these. They started out mediocre and didn't improve from there. Just a really poor fitting pair of riding shorts, that offer little in the way of protection and have a really crappy chamois. Had higher expectations given the price point. Moving on, my butt has had enough of these.

    Poor fitting

Sized big on the extra small/small. I’m a 28 waist and they were way big on me. Also the protection is cheap, flimsy, and uncomfortable. Don’t waste your time with these unless you like disappointment.

Nice fit with a lot of padding

These have a lot of padding in between the legs, was going to return them but, ended up keeping them for the mountain bike

Great for wearing under body protectors

Excellent fit and comfortable. I wear this under my ATLAS body armor and functions well with the body armor. Haven't tried it yet on got conditions but, it wasn't creating any heat at all.
