Finally a light weight full Gortex riding jacket. We need more options from Klim like this. I do wish it had more ventilation.

The jacket has amazing airflow. I live in the desert Southwest and it is a great choice. Typical KLIM quality. The biggest improvement is the airflow on and under my arms. Prior jacket had an arm vent that was not a big help. I may, or may not, use a hydration bladder this this as I don't want to block any airflow out the back. We'll see. Sizing from the KLIM chart was good. I have room underneath to add something for an early morning ride.

This jacket and pants combo is hands down the best value for the money. It fits comfortably and vents well. I bought it for early spring late fall riding, but find I'm using it all year round. It bends in the right places and the pads cover what is intended. They don't ride up or sag down so they're there when needed most, and I've needed them more than I want concede. In rain it's bullet proof, keeping the water out so I stay dry. My only issue, but this with every riding suit, the collar should close up a bit tighter to keep the helmet drip out.

I rode in the rain for 950 miles over 2 days. It was between 45 to 55 degrees. I was warm with just a hoody underneath and was completely dry. The fit is true to size. I wear a 2xl and bought a 2 xl. I haven't worn it in the heat yet so I can't say if the ventilation is enough to keep you cool.

The jacket is a quality piece, and the fact that you get two jackets that can be used individually is a plus. I will say the inner jacket fits me a bit snug, but still works out fine. It does have elbow and shoulder protection in the outer jacket and does not restrict movement at all. Very comfortable. It might be a bit warm depending on the temperature while riding as it has no venting. I live in the mountains and use it when the temps drop and found it to be very comfortable while on a dual sport bike or my ADV bike. Might be too warm for hard enduro riding. Also the hood does not seem to be a negative at normal highway speeds.

I would recommend this riding jacket. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is a nice quality with a great price. Fits well and I love that it has removable sleeves.
