    Comfortable, Not Durable

The Thor XP elbow guards fit well and offer good elbow protection. The fit is snug and secure, I really wanted these to work for off road riding. After the first ride I noticed that the sleeves were snagging and developing small holes that had grown larger by the second ride. I used RTV to prevent the spread which worked well. After each ride I would add RTV to new holes. Two snags resulted in larger holes that I hand stitched and then added RTV to. After 15 rides the right sleeve was blown out. The desert can be hard on equipment but it was a Pine tree snag in N. AZ that did the XP's in. The Thor elbow guards are comfortable but if you ride with your elbows up or anywhere but a track they will not survive real world usage. 2 stars for comfort.

    I can bend my elbow!

Very comfortable. There is a "sleeve" that you put your arm through, but I do not use it. The straps alone are enough to keep them in place. No worries.

    VERY Tight

These felt like they cut off my circulation completely and could not bend my elbows. Weird design for sure... If you can get past the discomfort, I would definitely trust them to protect my elbows.

    Ok Except for One Issue

These are easier to put on (eaiser than messing with straps) and you hardly notice they're there even on hot muggy riding days wearing them directly on skin under my jersey. I've thrown them right in the wash and air dried with no issues many times now with no issues. The only problem is for me they slide down my arm a bit, just enough to expose my elbow. I find myseld stopped to pull this section up a number of times while out on the trails. This is not due to sizing, any bigger they're be too loose. Exposed elbow defeats the purpose of an elbow guard. With periodic adjustment they serve their purpose.
