  • A.R.C. Battle Born Adventure Jacket

    Floyd in BC

    Good value, tearing from wind.

Great product and value& help; I really like this jacket, hundreds of dollars cheaper than anything else I could find. It is really warm, even with liners out it is warm. That being said we also had record heat this year. Most temps will be fine. Youll have to figure out a way to pack the inners if youre day tripping at any elevation of use another layer. Lots is storage, keep in mind this makes it heavier though which might wear on some folks. Waterproofing seemed to work in the one storm I was in, the outer layer soaked the water but didnt seem to pass through. Jacket started to tear on the top from wind buffeting. I will have to get this fixed. The pants were burnt on my KTM exhaust so if you own this machine I suggest you wrap the exhaust like I did. Now, if you RM management and youre reading this, I suggest a repair kit of sorts, most will need this over time and Im not sure about sourcing this material locally.

  • A.R.C. Packable Jacket

    Jess in OR

    Great package rain jacket

This jacket is exactly what I expected and works great. I picked this up to go over my roost guard for wind/rain or if I needed something to wear around camp and pack down small. There is only one vent in the back, but it works for what I need. The Fanny pack feature is a little odd, but if you need some strange s, they are built in.

    Cooler than I expected

Ridden road/dirt bikes for 50years, and never had a bike-dedicated jacket until this one. Thought it would be too hot, but I admit I was wrong. I haven't worn it on a really rough dual sport yet, but will try it this weekend.

  • Klim Badlands Pro Jacket

    Chris in WA

    Enduro Must Have

One mean jacket- heavy but comfortable with hip belt to take the weight off the shoulders. Hot for slow trail rides over 60 deg but vents bring temp range up to nearly 80 deg if on the road with vents fully open. Cant beat it for long rides from freezing to 80 deg wet or dry with only a base layer to stay comfortable. All armor you need built in.

  • Thor Terrain Jacket

    James in OR

Not bad but cut way too small in the arms

It's a well made jacket, but I found it was way too small. I wear a large jacket in general, so I purchased the Terrain in XL to fir over my Dainese Wave Pro. Sadly, while the torso fit well, the sleeves were VERY tight, highly constricting movement. As a vest it's great, but I need a jacket. Only two vertical chest pockets, so it carries little. My 1st Gen Leatt GPX 5.5 jacket in XL (with the roll-down brace collar) fits really well - if a bit garish looking - and will soldier on. I returned the Thor.
