Finally a light weight full Gortex riding jacket. We need more options from Klim like this. I do wish it had more ventilation.

I rode in the rain for 950 miles over 2 days. It was between 45 to 55 degrees. I was warm with just a hoody underneath and was completely dry. The fit is true to size. I wear a 2xl and bought a 2 xl. I haven't worn it in the heat yet so I can't say if the ventilation is enough to keep you cool.

Lightweight, packable, great for over your dual sport gear. Order one size up if you plan on using bulky gear underneath. It is flexible and fits athletic builds well too.

This jacket fits really good and i like that it comes with all the pads included. It looks like good quality and feels good in cooler weather. It really needs zip open vents front and back. Air will not flow through this jacket when you are not at speed. There is no way for air to exit the back so evapration cant take place on really hot humid days. I always wind up feeling very swampy on humid days. I am only giving it three stars because it is advertized as a hot weather jacket. All in all it is still a great jacket other than that.

Quality of construction is great. Value is great. However, I have to question the fit. I am 6", 210 pounds, and got an XL. Body fit is great, as is arm length (typically too short), but even with my twig like arms, the jacket felt really bunched up at the arms when even slightly bending my elbows. Remove the inner warmth liner and all is well. I will be exchanging for an XXL, to see if that works, otherwise I need to tru something else. I cant speak to durability, protection or weatherproofing, as this jacket has only been test fit at home. Ill edit later after actual use.

Jacket comes as a three layer, outer shell, thermal liner and waterproof liner. Each separately are easy to get on and off but if you are wearing all three layers ii is difficult to remove the jacket as the inner layers have small wrist openings and want to come out of the shell as you remove the jacket, basically turning inside out. My other complaint is that the neck opening is pretty large and combined with the stiff collar creates a void for air to flow into the jacket. You could fix by wearing a neck gaiter. Aside from that the quality appeared good, size large fit well, I am 5' 11" weighing about 165 lbs with 40 inch chest.
