MSR Rover Vest - A winner
This review is based on only one ride. However, I purchased this vest because another I ride with has had several rides with his vest. I bought it to replace my backpack. I did not like how the backpack held the weight at the bottom, pulling my shoulders back when riding. Most of the weight was from my hydration system, some tools and gear. This vest distributes the weight across the front and rear of my torso and is more comfortable than my backpack. The vest appears to be made of very good quality, I anticipate it will last me a long time, and it has already proven to be more comfortable. And because of the storage capacity, I have access to items like my phone that is stored on my chest rather than on my back which allows me to quickly access my maps while riding. And airflow through the front is good, the vest uses straps which leaves the front open.
