  Not for oval heads

  By all expert reviews I have read, this is an excellent helmet. But unlike the Neotec that I tried on, the Hornet is not a medium oval. It is built for very round heads. I had to send it back.

  Great helmet

  I wanted a helmet that was lighter weight due to prior neck surgery. This helmet is lighter and comfortable. I love the easy magnetic clip to remove it. It also seems to buffer the wind better than my other helmet. The only thing that bugs me a little is the transition shield. When you have it up and then pull it back down, it has lines of shade you see for a few seconds before it clears up.

  Great helmet! Glad I bought this one.

  This is my first ADV helmet, I had worn my MX helmet and sunglasses before but this is a game changer. I have been able to ride on days that would have been too cool before because now I can close the vents and put the face shield down. When the temp goes up I can open the vents and get plenty of circulation, they do a great job. This helmet is also very quiet, very little wind and road noise. I like the option of using the tinted shield if needed, or flipping it up when it's not needed. The cheek pads and liner are the most comfortable I've ever used. The size chart was accurate, I was able to get a perfect fit the first time. Overall, I'm very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

  MSR™ Xpedition ADV Helmet w/MIPS

  Amazing for the price point

  Bought this to try out to replace my other helmet and I am pleased. True to size, fit and finish is spot on. My Sena bolted up and I velcroed the speakers in and they fit perfect, plus I am using the slim HD speaker upgrade I have zero complaints and it seems very comfortable.
