  I expected a great deal from these pants and they delivered! The adjustability, fit, protection (rain and abrasive) are outstanding. I like a pant over boot for the additional water protection in the rain. Stellar performance in the rain. Have not used they yet in extreme heat, but I plan to use proper layering and anticipate no issues. SUPER value for money. I'm on the small size and the small fits great and allows additional layers depending on weather. Great value for money

  Best $200 I've ever spent. Went down yesterday at about 60 mph after hitting a deer. Slid for about 50 feet. Landed on my elbow and knee. The pants held up incredibly well with some scratches and a hole over the knee pad. Thanks to the gear, I walked away completely unscathed. I can't believe how well the MSR gear protected me on the worst crash I've had in 16 years of riding.

  Decent pants except the leather inner knee.

  The leather inner knee panels rubbed off onto my bikes plastics. Left black smudges where I was gripping the bike. Pretty average pants but if you get them on sale they're worth it.

  GREAT GEAR!

  4 days of fantastic mountainous desert fun at the Oregon Giant Loop Ride last month. Hundreds of riders, multiple hundreds of miles provided GPX runs over true Adventure riding terrain and roads. I wore the MSR Legend pants and jacket everyday, and they performed marvelously, to include surviving, with no damage, a high speed crash in the desert. My body and the MC didn't fare so well, but the Legend gear prevailed flawlessly. Can't recommend it enough. BTW, being able shed the sleeves off the jacket after the early morning chill turned too warm, was wonderful. And the vents on the pants provided perfect air-conditioning circulation.
