  • Leatt 3DF 5.0 Impact Shorts

    DWIGHT in ON

    Superb protective pants

These are superb: they are low profile but offer pretty good protection to hip and to the top and side of the thigh muscle...places I have bashed in the past.

  • Leatt 3DF 4.0 Impact Shorts

    David in MN

    Comfortable but not very durable

Comfortable chamois and decent impact protection. Some of the mesh panels are very thin and are developing holes. Chamois is on par with bike shorts from Pearl Izumi or Bontrager, so despite the holes, I bought a second pair - the hip and thigh protection is worth the trade off in my opinion.

  • Klim Teton Merino Wool Long Sleeve Shirt

    Worth every penny

This is the best money I've spent on gear. Warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Simply amazing and Klim quality to boot.

  • O'Neal Racing Trail Pro Pants

    Jeff in MT

Nice Pants. Sizing off. They run TOO BiG

BEWARE OF SIZE CON: FIT is TOO BIG for a Large I wear a 34 in jeans/pants and 34 waist in Fox, MSR, Answer and Klim. I normally wear a Large cycle short for training on the bike so I thought these would follow since they are a chamois padded pant. Not the case. Waist is stretchy on the Large and could stretch to a 38 or more. The pants themselves are super stretchy, more so than cycling shorts. These would offer no compression and the pads would not stay in place. If you are a 34 with absolute tree trunks for legs, they might work. If you are normal to a bit muscular, they are too loose. PRO: Pads are nice high density foam and placement seems to be perfect. I am going to exchange for a Medium and then update.

  • Leatt 3DF AirFit Lite Shoulder Tee

    Tim in MT

    Saved my bacon

Was recently in Moab, on the golden spike trail where I had a mishap. Went to the ground hard and tore a rotator cuff, The doctor later told me that my injuries to my shoulder would have been much worse like a replacement if it weren?t for these shoulder pads. They fit snug, and create an armor barrier between me and the outside.

    Best Value Riding Shorts

Bought these for hard enduro/single track riding, and dammed if i didnt end up using them for motocross to! Very comfortable (for riding shorts), they stay up on my waist nice and haven't moved at all!. Literally the only critique I have is that I cannot stand to wear anything underneath them, so if you're planning on riding multiple days... Buy two pair!
