  Good Suite for the price

  I purchased 2 of these suits. I was thinking that they would be the typical grade rain gear for the price range. It turned out that they are very well made and have heavy duty zippers. I got a XL and a XXL set due to other reviews about sizing. Glad I did. I'm 5'11" 225lbs and larger around the center. The XXL jacket was too big and the XL pants were too tight. I've yet to try out their waterproof capabilities.

  I'm taking them even if there is no chance of rain ...

  My buddy had a pair of MSR RAIN PANTS on a past ride/camping trip to the Black Rock Desert. He raved about how good they were. My buddy has questionable ideas on somethings but I bought them anyway because they fold up and pack nice plus you can't beat the price. I took them on the next ride and it rained a lot! The pants paid for themselves. They worked GREAT. Very easy to put on over boots and knee guards, have a cargo pocket on the left leg and look good

  MSR Pack Jacket-great buy!

  Rode during a steady rain with mid 40s temps at recent Broxton Bridge Dual Sport. Jacket performed admirably and certainly exceeded my expectations considering the price point. While not 100% waterproof, it kept water away from body and stopped any wind penetration. Ordered the XL to fit over my Fox Raptor chest protector and USWE hydration pack; 5-8, 200#

  Great light jacket for wet days

  Great light rain jacket for cool winter days. I'm using this for PNW riding days. It has been excellent in shedding rain and the moisture of trees/brush without being overly hot once you start working.

  Needed a good suit for an upcoming month long ride. This one is just the ticket. Sturdy, well constructed and yet not as heavy as my previous suit. It's a keeper!
