I was out of the riding scene for a year and my hands got soft. I needed some extra protection until i could build my caluses back and get my hands used to the vibration of the 2-smoke. I used these a couple weekends and they were just what the doc ordered. They fit well under my gloves like they weren't there, but I definitely noticed a little more grip diameter. Once I felt like I didn't need them, I passed them on to my son; he loves them. Definitely worth the money and worth having in your kit just in case.
