I can only speak from my experiences with these klim bib havoc pants, I have about 60hrs of seat time on my snow bike with these pants with lots of tree riding, so these pants spend lot time hitting tree branches. So far for me, they havent formed one hole any where. If you combo the pants with the Klim Havoc boots, you have an amazing warm and waterproof set up. Never had any snow get inside the pants, I stay dry, warm even on the wettest of days. The pants are little stiff, but very durable. Love the thigh pockets. Im 6' 2" and weight around 215lbs, I thought the XL would fit, but ended up returning them for a large instead. Ive been very happy with these pants!

Very impressed with the quality of these pants. They are true-to-size and comfortable to wear. The venting on the legs is better than many riding pants I've had in the past.

I have never owned specific technical motorcycling pants. Coming from mostly the cruiser world, I always just wore jeans. But with my new desire to commute 150 miles/day on an adventure bike, I wanted protection from the cold and if I were to go down in an accident. These MSR Xplorer pants are absolutely stunning. Having recently lost weight, I am also happy with the adjustable waist (or they would be falling off of me). The material is like a tank, looks very cool, and is padded and articulated in all the right ways. I really wish that I had found these before ordering my AlpineStars jacket so that I could have ordered the matching jacket. I am sold for life as long as the quality, design, and craftsmanship doesn't change.

These pants are great i only have one issue with them and it likely wouldn't be an issue for everyone. they were true to size, i wear a size 34 in jeans, and got these in a 34 also and they fit right. A bit snug in the waist but not bad. My biggest issue with these pants are the colosal size of them around your calfs, i feel like i'm wearing jeans from the early 2000's with these babies on, absolute MC hammer pants. That being said tho, the waterproofing was great i stayed dry on this 300+ mile ride recently with tons of water crossings. The pockets are nice fit a lot and aren't difficult to use. The vents work very well, and allow a good bit of air flow through out. i only knocked of one star because of the odd calf area sizing. Overall i'm pleased with them and plan to hang on to them for those cold and rainy weather days. They're also very stiff out of the box, but they seem to be gaining some movement with some time in them.

Used dailey for commuting and just play riding. Like the jacket have been keeping me dry! Stitching on one pocket was not so good but not hurting them. I dont like the tiny zippers on the pockets. The waist adjustment buckels at times dig into my hip bones. Do not like the placement of those. Also the knee armor floats around a lot but are in place as long as im sitting but i do not use motorcycle boots. Im sure that would help with that. They are very warm in cold. They are hot in hot weather but i expected that. They have been perfect for my dailey commute. Rain cold or shine.
