I like the fit and function. It has always done a surprisingly good job protecting me. I'm tall and it's cut quite long so it stays well tucked. Elbow guards stay put. I tested this against others in its class, including AS Bionic, and it flows the most air and is lowest profile under a jersey. My only complaint is the zipper is finicky to get started.

Really comfortable, I dont use the chest protector, but gives great protection for elbows and shoulders. Have used the chest protector but is kind of bulky with my WLF pack.

Returning item but for the record this item is much smaller than what you expect if you are averaged sized american male. I ordered XXL and fits like something in a medium size. I will have to but the other brand I had but I was hoping for something better quality so I wanted to try Alpine Stars. For a comparison my perfect fit T shirt is XL

Great protection compared to the flimsy foam that came with my pants

I ride mostly rocky single track and got this because I wanted something with rib protection in addition to the normal elbow, shoulder, chest, back stuff. It's light and comfortable and the air flow is very good for the level of protection. Not sure about durability yet as only have a couple rides on it so far. One question I have is it specifically says not to wash it, but no information on how to get the sweat/stink/dirt off. The mesh is very thin and light, so I can understand not putting it in the washer/dryer. Would be nice if they offered some guidance on how to clean it.

As Jared says in his review that they run small is so true. I ordered an XL and I couldn't even zip it up. The XL is definitely a European XL. They are backordered on the XXL so I will have to wait a full week. I can say the jacket offers some pretty robust protection for fairly light weight. I am upgrading my under jacket that I have had for 15 years.
