Love this jacket!
I bought this as more of a wind proof / water proof outer layer for riding in the winter / cold rain. It blocks the frigid wind, and keeps me dry if it's snowing / raining, or I happen to fall. I've hit the dirt hard while riding with this jacket, and it held up flawlessly. I love that it folds into a built-in pouch with a belt, so I can carry it, if I get too warm while riding (yes, that definitely happens even at 10 degrees F). It's a very nice looking jacket too, that I actually wear as a light weight jacket in "every day" use.

Light weight layer wind proof layer for cold days
I had tried the $20 Acerbis rain coat. It was ok for the price but the zipper is starting to jam and likely will break so time for replacement. The Acerbis takes very little room in my pack.

The Thor is a notch up in quality. A bit thicker shell material with a nicer collar. The rear vent is a big plus and the Acerbis will get sweaty when working technical trail. I haven't test the Thor out yet so can't comment on water proof or not.

My shirt size is Large but I wear a Troy Lee chest protector and elbow guards under my jersey. The Acerbis XXL was just right over the chest protector and jersey. I bought the the Thor XXL but is was much larger than the Acerbis.

I returned the Thor XXL in exchange for a XL. Waiting for delivery now.

is this a 100% waterproof riding jacket?
Bell S on Jun 12, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I am not completely sure that it's 100% waterproof, but it's pretty close. I can tell that because if i ride with it and sweat, the moisture stays inside the coat until I take it off. It doesn't really seem to breathe very well. I've ridden it in a little rain, and the rain doesn't soak through the fabric.
Are these sized for going over armor? Should I order a size up or my normal size if wearing over chest protector?
KEVIN T on May 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I ordered one size up and it fit perfectly over my Troy Lee 5955 chest protector. Nice Jacket.
Full length zipper or a pullover? Wouldn't want to take a bunch of gear off to pull it over.
A shopper on Mar 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Full length zipper. Nice jacket!
Can anyone point to instructions for packing into its' own pocket?
Scott P on Feb 22, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I looked on YouTube and found a how to for a different brand. Basically you just stuff the Jacket into the bag (turn the bag "inside out").
