  MSR® Performance Base Layer Shirt

  Very comfortable with other gear.

  i bought the pants previously and was very happy with them. The shirt is working great as well. It's not as hot as I thought it would be just looking at it. I have not had a chance to wear it in the real hot weather yet, but I have experienced the cooling effect with a slight breeze after the material gets damp. The best thing I like about the pants and the shirt is how much more comfortable they make my riding pants and jacked feel. The pants don't stick to my legs and the hardness of the armor and seams inside the jacket are smoothed out. I plan to wear these on every ride now.

  MSR® Performance Base Layer Pant

  Great so far

  5 stars so far. Still need to see how they do in warmer weather. The main reason I bought the pants was because my MSR Voyager pants cling to my skin when I sweat. The venting really helps but it's still an issue and makes them very difficult to pull up. The MSR base layer pants have solved this issue and make the pants much more comfortable. I can't believe that the base layer pants won't be hot in the summer time. Time will tell.

  O'Neal Racing Trail Pro Pant

  Pretty good, don't care for the chamois (butt pad)

  Good fit (I'm 5'10/165/32waist) and Medium was perfect. Just the right amount of hip/tailbone protection for my riding needs (trail enduro). I always use shorts with a chamois (butt sponge) on my mountain and road bike rides, but I find it totally useless and uncomfortable for riding trails on dirtbikes where I'm standing 90+% of the time. Maybe good for a long Baja tour? Anyway, I took a stitch puller and cut the chamois out and now it's better.
