UTV helmets are an excellent way to add an extra layer of safety to the emerging sport of side-by-sides. With proper headgear, you can enjoy traversing any terrain without fear. A larger chassis and steel frame doesn’t make head protection any less important for extreme off-road riding.
UTVs present a unique environment that provides more helmet options than ATV or dirt bike riders have. The protection required isn’t so much for impacts against the ground as it is for the side-by-side’s frame or interior objects. For example, since a seatbelt restrains you within the vehicle in the event of a crash, traditional motocross-style helmets aren’t necessary if you want to go for something a little different. Both open face and closed face helmets are appropriate for UTVs. Do you prefer the easier communication afforded by an open face helmet? Or do you seek the maximum protection offered by a closed face helmet? Whatever you want, we’ve got a solution here.
Since UTVs incorporate room for at least one passenger, they present a unique circumstance that other off-road vehicles don’t face. It is imperative that you provide proper safety equipment for your passengers, and that starts with the most important piece of gear: the helmet. Your passengers will appreciate it, and you’ll ensure that everyone is safe at all times.
Helmets for UTV riders aren’t just an important safety decision; they’re also mandatory depending on what state you ride in. That’s right; legislatures around the country are starting to reevaluate helmet laws and incorporate side-by-sides into existing (or even new) requirements. In strict cases, this applies to everyone; in other situations, it only applies to children. Of course, it’s best to always ensure you have enough helmets along with you. That way, regardless of where you go or who you’re with, you’ll be able to comply with the law and be safe.
UTV helmets come in many designs and styles, and we stock hundreds to make sure that you find the perfect one for you. Take a look at our extensive selection to find one that meets your requirements of comfort, style and fit.

I'll admit it. I've been known to compromise on some gear in order to achieve the same goal and to save a few bucks. Premium helmets cost a grip of cash, and your discretionary income varies on a lot of things. I get it. You'll get no judgment from me. Shoei is a premium helmet that commands premium pricing. What you get in return for those hard earned dollars is a fit and finish that is unparalleled (except for Arai perhaps), ventilation that works, and a helmet that is built to last. My Shoei NeoTec is entering its 7th year of service and is as solid as the day I bought it. After a couple of months and a thousand miles in the Hornet X2, I have no doubt that this helmet will stand the test of time. It is very similar to the NeoTec and other helmets in the Shoei line in fit, finish, and function. It just works. Your nugget is arguably the most important thing you protect while riding. If you have the means to get one, it'll be worth every penny should you ever have to put it to the test. If you don't, the comfort and build quality alone will be enough to warrant the price of entry.

Super comfy, not too noisy, fits like a dream after a ride or two. Only 4 stars is because I had to cut some of the insert out for my Cardo speakers because they were pressing against my ears. Cut out from the factory would've made this 5 stars.
