UTV Pants From Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

When you hit the trail in your UTV, do you have dependable gear that can take a beating as much as your machine can? Nothing offers quite the durability designed for the unique requirements of trail riding as a good pair of UTV pants. When you drive a vehicle as strong and versatile as a UTV, it only makes sense to take along gear that is just as resilient.

Naturally, mobility and movement are an important part whenever it comes to picking out what you’re going to wear. These pants don’t sacrifice flexibility in order to offer you such great protection. They’ll allow you to comfortably drive your machine wherever you need to, but they’ll still make it easy to move about when you take a quick break on the trail.

Finally, you can’t forget about style. Any type of clothing carries a unique appearance – even if it is conservative – that serves as a complement to you throughout the day. The same is true for UTV pants, though you might have many more options in the style department than with most of your wardrobe. We have hundreds of choices in a variety of colors; there’s definitely something for everyone in this mix. Take a look to see for yourself, and pick out the option that best suits you.

    Decent, but could be better

I bought the matching top, so looks wise these are my cup of tea...or joe...whatever. The fit, compared to Fox 180 pants is not as good. They tend to grab or bind or not sure how to describe it with knee bending/extending. It is slight but noticeable. They have an extra zipper protection tab, which I don't see the point of since the ratcheted belt overlap would take up any load on the zipper. The plastic buckle on the ratcheting waist retainer is holding, but has a small crack where the return spring will eventually fail. The other waist adjustment is a velcro and cam sort of thing. It works, but the fit in the waist is just not as good as the fox 180s I am coming from. The rest of the build quality is solid. They tend to hold up better in the crotch to abrasion (which is what wore the Fox 180s out), as well as on the legs for 4t pipe burns/abrasions (the Fox did not hold up as well there either). These are the only to pants I have used, so no other reference to judge them by.

Shipping was very fast. I have never had any riding pants in my 46 years of life, so I didn't know what to expect. After ordering Moose Racing pants first and sending them back, the MSR pants was a huge improvement. They are well made for a starter pant and they fit my waist, but that's all that fits. I can't fully blame the pants, but to get these to fit my short over weight body, I now must take them to be altered. The waist fit was excellent, but the large knee area is way down around the bottom of my shins.

    Excellent Pants

These pants are not cheap but the quality is excellent and they should last for many years. The leg vents work great in hot weather if you are standing up on the pegs. Would buy again without any hesitation.
