didnt read the fine print. gives you about 1/4 of an inch of gap and oem hub and rim on a kx250 2005 and didnt get to return or exchange but it was not rm fault was mine. if anyone needs g force spokes for half price get at me
Bought these to replace broken spokes on the rear wheel. Should have checked the factory spokes better & might not of had to replace. There are 3 different lengths so I suggest changing them one at a time & measuring. Also suggest using anti seize on the nipples to prevent seizing & easier adjustment. Trueing the rim is not hard just takes a little patience. You can mount rim on swing arm to adjust radial & lateral run out. Use an inch pound torque wrench for final torque using factory specs. One final note. Purchase a quality spoke wrench. I now check before each ride during pre-ride checks. No problems to date.
I ride a CRF450R so my rear wheel takes a beating. I replaced my stock wheel with the Gforce and was pretty happy with the wheels themselves until I broke 3 spokes on one ride. When I went to replace them there wasn't a local shop around that had them. That isn't surprising but it's a bummer to miss a ride because you don't have spokes. Then I learned I couldn't just buy the 3 spokes and 3 extras...I had to buy the complete rear wheel kit. I now have a bunch of extras. What a waste of money!!
Machine this part was bought for: 2005 HONDA CRF450R
