    Talon Billet Rim Locks
These are light weight, strong, and have plenty of grip. I love them when running bib mousse inserts.

    Locks like a snapping turtle
This lock is truly a vault. BUT! It will grab and but your tube on installation. Don't file the corners, it's not necessary. Slow down, take your time and use lots of baby powder. The powder allows the tube to be slick enough to not get caught. I used it on my 150f play bike and the rim has not slipped even at 9psi. On bigger bikes I use tubliss.

    Works as expected
This rimlock works as expected. its design features are aboum making it in as few of steps in a CNC machine shop, and therfore it has some clunky features that add weight, but it works well.

    love it
its light and looks cool. but my biggest compliment for this rim lock is that its much narrower than conventional rim locks and that makes it much much easier to put in place when changing tires because you wont have to make as much room to get it in

    Seems to be working great
I tried these because I wanted a rim lock that is durable. They are light weight, easy to install, and fit well. I have a entire race season (enduro and hare scramble) plus play riding with this installed in the front tire. No issues to date with it at all. Put a new tire on yesterday and inspected the tube. No signs of wear on the tube where the rim lock is installed. Other than a little dirt, the rim lock looks like new.

    Looks Works - but I wouldn't recommend
This is definitely the coolest looking rim lock that I've ever owned. I bought a complete rim/hub/tire combo on Craigslist and this rim lock was in it. Unfortunately - it has sharp edges on the corners and I've now suffered two flats because the edges of this rim lock wears a hole in the tub on the inside. The first time it happened I tried to glue some thick tubing on the top surface so the tube wouldn't come in contact with these sharp corners - but it didn't work and I ended up with another flat on the trail. So I had to do a trail-side repair because of this thing and I've got to throw away an otherwise perfectly fine heavy-duty tube that this rim lock punctured. (I've got a rule that you never run a tub with a patch on it). So I wouldn't recommend running this rim lock in your rim. I'll be throwing mine away.

What is the weight of this lock?
    Charles R on Mar 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't have an accurate scales but I can say that holding this lock in one hand and a regular lock in the other, this lock feels like it weighs half or less the weight of the same size regular rim lock. And holding two of these locks does still feel like less weight than one regular rim lock to me. Be prepared to do some sanding/smoothing though.
Anyone know the weight of the 2.5" rim lock?
    Troy S on Oct 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I personally have searched far and wide on the interwebs to obtain this information, and came out of empty handed . I would like to know the weight as I own this item as well and would be helpful for balancing. Thanks!
