  Not shiny, but it's still gold.

  It seems to be holding up fine. This is the first time I've used a rivet master link, and it went on well enough. We went on a 3,000 mile trip to Mexico and back. I only lubed it a couple times during the trip and I didn't notice any stretch. Admittedly, I didn't have the correct tension to begin with, but it seemed to be doing well with all the rings intact. Its black finish isn't fancy, but if it's dirty it's not noticeable, and if it's clean it's not noticeable. I think that's fine if you want to draw attention to other parts of the bike.

  The sprockets are very high quality with good anodizing and cleaning grooves machined in. They have good service life as long as chain maintenance is observed
