  Almost perfect...

  Very nice, premium helmet. Light weight and seems to flow air well, although if the air is calm/hot/stale I feel like I can't breathe as well. Maybe the chin guard is too close? Seems to take hits from low branches better in that I feel it less than my previous helmet. Also came with a really nice helmet bag! I've had it for about two years now and my only complaints are - (1) cheek pads are next to impossible to click back in after cleaning etc, very frustrating (2) goggle port is small so I have trouble getting my Leatt and Scott goggles to seat well (3) metal screen on front means no easy way to run my drink tube through.

  great air flow and the most comfortable helmet I have yet to put on my head. I recommend this to anyone looking for a higher end helmet and have the money to spend on it.

  6D ATR-2 Torque Helmet

  Crash tested

  Crashed breaking a rib a puncturing a lung. Also hit my head hard enough to be dizzy for about 2min. Completely convinced the helmet protected me so I didn't get a concussion. Sent it to 6D, they replaced the inner foam which was cracked and I was able to ride again. Highly recommended.

  6D ATB-2T Ascent MTB Helmet

  Pricey but worth it

  I've had several half helmets and this is probably my favorite of them all. The fit is awesome, the holes on the back are great for holding my riding glasses, and I'm a believer in 6D's ODS technology so I feel safe in it. It's pricey, but it's been an awesome helmet.

  major concussion wearing this helmet

  Well I had this helmet for about a week. Wore it twice. On the second ride I took a dirt sample at around 50mph while pre-running in the dez. Just got out of shape in the whoops. I gave the helmet 3 stars bases on the level of the concussion I have. I've replaced my bell moto 9 flex with the 6d. I've crashed on the bell and previous to that crashed wearing a fly formula carbon. Neither of those helmets resulted in this bad of a concussion. Other than that, the helmet is pretty sweet. Fits great and light weight. Not crazy about the cheek pad fasteners, and prefer the strap to have a magnet (bell moto 9) rather than the snap. I'm sending it in for a rebuild, literally a week after I got it. I do recommend this helmet because it may have saved my life over some other helmets I've used. You just never know.
