Mustang Wide Touring Studded Seat with Driver's Backrest

    Joseph in NC

    Great seat.

Great seat that fits better than the stock. I've put over 400 miles on it and have had no pain in my tailbone which I normally had after an hour of riding. The only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't come wth a matching backrest for the passenger.

  • Sargent World Sport Performance Motorcycle Seat

Sargent World Sport Performance Motorcycle Seat

    Matthew in CO

    Poor quality mounting brackets

Let me preface this review by saying that I am an adventure biker, meaning that I get on my bike with a GPS and everything I need for a week and disappear off into the farthest reaches I can access. I put my bike through it: Mud, sand, heat, cold, rain and even the occasional snow until I find an acceptable place to wait it out. That said, this seat, however comfortable, does not pass the test in terms of durability, particularly the mounting brackets. For the money I expect my seat to come with reinforced mounting brackets, not cheap plastic that splits with simple vibration over the course of the first four months. If you are "adventure bike Andy" who likes to outfit your bike with all the stuff needed to look like you are an adventure biker and then pound 20,000 miles of pavement, then this seat will suit you. If you cannot even think of, or cannot remember the last time you actually dropped your bike, this seat is for you. If you even ride the simple backcountry discovery routes in Utah, Colorado, or Idaho, this seat's plastic mounting brackets will fail you. If Sargent fixes this crucial design flaw, this rating goes up to 4.5 - 5 because it is super comfortable and ergonomically correct for turning serious miles on pavement to get to the dirt. • Airhawk 2 Seat Cushion

    Airhawk 2 Seat Cushion

    Andrew in CO

Would recommend, but it takes a while to get used to.

Overall I would highly recommend the Airhawk 2. It quadruples how long I'm able to comfortably ride. However, it does take a while to get used to as it feels kind of like your floating on top of the bike. The cushion also seems to not stay perfectly in place, moving a bit as you adjust during your ride. Make sure you don't over inflate it, as the instructions state.
