DOES NOT FIT 12-16 KTM 500 EXC
Unless you want to cut up your stock wiring. And there is no wiring diagram to help you figure out which wires go where as the Tusk wires do not match the KTM wire colors. Also there are 3 wires in the tusk, and 6 in the stock KTM switch plus the three headlight wires.
This should not be listed as an item that "fits your machine"!!!

Good quality hardware
I just wish that the blinker switch was a little different. I like the ones that let you press the switch like a button to cancel, and toggle it to activate the blinker.

But, this is build with quality materials, and the switches work well.

KTM supermoto
Plugs right in to tusk harness and easy to install but seems very cheap and flimsy. But I can't fault it for the price. Made my bike street legal so I'm happy for the price.

Headlights accidentally get turned on
This is ok. The body isnt stiff enough an only has 2 screws so it flexs and opens up some. Also the headlight switch accidentally gets turned on when im riding off road, and there is a dead spot in that switch where no lights are on when they should be.

Does the switch include any additional connectors?
Michael S on Feb 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No extra connectors, It's just what is shown in the photo. Great simple switch though!
Can't get the headlight switch to work with my CRF250X. I've tried every wiring connection I can think of but can't get it to control the headlight. The turn signals and horn work perfectly but the headlight is not working at all.
Any suggestions? FYI the two headlight wires are green and blue. I've tried using both of them as power but nothing works.
Stacey S on Mar 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If I remember correctly, those are the high and low beam outputs from the headlight switch. There should be a (black?) wire that leads to the switch which is for sending power to the headlight switch. You'll need to splice that black wire into the (12v+), AND add a (12v-) ground to the third connector on the headlight. The TUSK wiring can be confusing, because black doesn't always pertain to ground.
Could this ever work for a yz 450f 2007? if not how else can I power the headlight if I don't have the head light wires to plug in?
Carlos A on Feb 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You'll need an aftermarket stator to provide power to a headlight. The 07 YZ has enough juice for the ignition coil and that's about it. Google yz450 dual sport conversion and that should give you some links to determine if you want to go down that route. It's not cheap.

Alternatively, there are some companies that provide battery powered LED lights that can be made to work if you only need light for a limited amount of time.
