DID chain
Race mini quads with high performance engines. The 428 VX X chain more than holds up under the pressure and abuse these little quads dish out. No chain problems since switching grips the sprockets tight.

1st time using the X ring chain. 1st ride had minimal stretching. 2nd ride didn't have to adjust chain. All non o ring chains stretch too much for the power that my kids but to the ground.

Good quality chain
Bought as a replacement for the stock TW200 chain which only has 2500 miles but is completely stretched and worn out. This is the kind of chain you want if you want your chain to last and not have to adjust it every 100 miles. I'm sure it will last many thousands of miles.

will not use anything but D.I.D!!!
I purchased this to replace the stock chain on my TW200. I have purchased my tw200 new only a few months ago and the stock chain is just rubish. So like my other toyz I put on a DID X-ring and all problems solved. These run much quieter, stay lubricated better, and do not stretch nearly as much as any other chain.
Great product!!!

Good quality for a 428 chain
I was looking for a quality chain for a 1972 Honda SL 125 I am fixing for my wife. We live in Baja where the sand eats chains for breakfast. X-ring chains are just what the doctor ordered.

Did 428 vx x-ring chain
This is a very good chain at a affordable price.I bought the did 428 vx x ring chain for my son's 03 rm 85. It held up very well with very good wear it stretched very little so there was very little chain adjusting. I would recommend this chain and would buy it again.

Excellent OEM chain replacement
The OEM chain on the TW is garbage, I've done at least 4 adjustments to maintain proper chain tension on this bike in 600 miles since new. Thats every other ride! I can already tell this chain rolls and shifts smoother than the OEM and has not needed an adjustment in a further 200 miles. I looked everywhere for a cheaper 428 with 0-rings or x-rings and couldnt find a better deal than RM. Im realizing now its worth the price to protect my sprockets from quickly wearing out with the roller chain.

Can you cut this chain to length?
A shopper on Mar 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I had to grind the side of the pin on the chain flush with the chain link and tap it through using a screwdriver and a hammer to tap it through. It can be done easy with a bench vise to hold it steady but be careful not to mar the chain. You might want to look up a YouTube video if you don't have experience with doing so.
I got a five tooth larger sprocket will the stock chain size still work?
A shopper on Aug 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You will need a longer chain with that big a sprocket change.

With the chain adjusted properly, and your wheel ends up pretty much all the way back as far as it can go in the slots now, you might be able to go two teeth more on most bikes with the same chain. That's best case. If your wheel is towards the front of the adjustment slots, you might not even be able to go one tooth bigger.

I usually buy a chain that is way too long and cut it to fit. My guess is for 5 teeth more you are going to need to add around 10 more links to the stock chain so buy something at least that much longer.
Does this 428 VX x-ring chain come with a rivet master link?
Jeff L on Aug 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This chain will include a clip style master link.
