Details

Fastway and the suspension pros at Stillwell Performance have come together to design the Fastway Adjustable Linkage Guard Pro, a hybrid linkage guard that also functions as an adjustable suspension link. Using a simple but clever design, the Linkage Guard Pro uses a billet 6061 aluminum body to deflect impacts and avoid costly repairs to your rear linkage and shock clevis. This protection is almost a necessity when enduro riding or dealing with log-covered terrain. The Linkage Guard Pro also has four adjustment settings to suit your preference, from stock to out 2mm (which also lowers the ride height ½ inch). An anodized finish is applied for corrosion protection, and 20mm needle bearings work with included dust seals so your linkage runs smooth while it’s well protected.

    Specs:
  • Adjustable linkage guard for your motorcycle
  • Four adjustments available from stock out to 2mm
  • Improves front end steering & cornering
  • Helps with rear wheel traction
  • Can lower seat height down 1/2 an inch at 2mm setting
  • Machined from a solid block of 6061 aluminum
  • Weighs only 6.7 ounces over stock link
  • Shaped to deflect blows away from the linkage
  • Protective 'hard-black' anodized finish
  • Dual heavy-duty 20mm needle bearings with dust seals installed
  • Prevents expensive damage to the lower shock clevis and the suspension linkage

Amazing Guard Takes a Beating
This linkage guard is absolutely amazing! I ride in a very rocky area and have hit this linkage guard on some very nasty sharp rocks. This guard takes every rock you throw its way and more.

A bit spendy, but very nice protection!
I contemplated this purchase for a while because in the past I didn't really care about smashing up the lower linkage on my bikes...but the KTM seems to sit lower than some of my other bikes, making it more vulnerable. The added bonus was that it comes with a bit of adjust-ability by easily flipping some "chip inserts". At 6'1", I run mine in the OEM position, but at least the option is there. As far as mounting up, it was easy and straightforward. I think it took me about 30 minutes taking my time. As for riding, I can't say for sure that I notice a HUGE difference in what I "feel" but, I can say that judging by the large scrapes and marks, the guard is doing it's job in protecting my lower linkage and shock. I think it's a solid upgrade for KTM owners. If it were a little bit cheaper, I would give it 5 stars, but the price was a bit tough for me to swallow initially. Still a great product.

best option for replacing a broken linkage
Easy to install. This has taken nasty impacts on rocks and logs and if you ride woods and cross logs this is a saftey upgrade as the KTM linkage can hook small raised logs or branches and send you over the handlebars.

Linkage Guard
Easy to install, looks great, and works exactly as it should! it is a bit pricey but worth it if you do a lot of riding in rocks and logs, only took me about 15 minutes to install.

Great product. Easy to install. Like the adjustability and the protection it gives the shock. A little pricy, but cheaper than replacing the shock. Worth the money. We ride a lot of rocks and log crossing. Shock does not get hung up. Would recomend to anyone riding off-road woods.

Saved me from lots of repairs!
Ok it's pricey, but it's worth every penny.

This thing has saved my otherwise vulnerable dogbones from having to be replaced at least twice this past season and it's still looks great.

Very tough, robust build.

A must have in the rocks of the Northeast.
