The Yokohama is a new jacket for Alpinestars that’s made for 3 to 4 season riding using solid weatherproofing that’ll handle a large range of riding conditions. This may sound similar to other jackets in Astars’ stable, like the Andes or the Vence, but the Yokohama is a more aggressive jacket with a slightly sportier style and a fit that’s more tailored and close fitting.

The jacket’s cut is complimented with zippered venting on the chest and back, and even more importantly, that venting flows directly to your body. Because the Drystar membrane is actually built into the jacket’s outer shell, air isn’t caught by additional layers and you don’t need to deal with annoying liners. That gives you a higher level of waterproofing versus the majority of jackets, but it also cuts down on the jacket’s bulk, making it more streamlined and lighter overall.

Astars also included plenty of comfort and convenience features, and when everything is totaled up, the Yokohama stands as a great touring or adventure jacket. But it also one of the most versatile options that keeps an exceptional level of weatherproofing—meaning it’s even good for sport touring on something like an FJR, Multistrada, or Super Duke GT.

• Ventilation system features large zippered air intakes on chest and arms, with air exhausts on the back for cooling performance which can be adapted according to climate.
• Removable long sleeve thermal liner means jacket can be worn in colder climates. Liner jacket includes mesh collar for comfort.
