First 8 ply I've had. Ride is a little rough even when aired down to 4psi. The 25-9-12 is a little shorter than I expected. I haven't got enough miles on them to rate the tread life.

Looks like they will last forever.
The lugs are so huge I was concerned that they may ride rough, but they actually ride as smooth as the original Polaris tires. However, I have settled on using pressures of 2 pounds less than factory recommendation as they are very stiff (10-rear & 8-front). I decided to stick with the original diameter to keep the gear ratio the same (26" & true to size), but ordered the original rear width all the way around (our forest service is real strict about the 50" rule). They have a rounded profile and get excellent traction in sand (loose & packed), mud, and rock, but a little loud on pavement. Very pleased they do not kick up has much dust as the Rip Saw tires. Also, if you gun it on a corner you can get the back to slide a bit and pretend you're quite the racer.

    Great All around tire
We do a lot of road riding between trails so was looking for a good all around tire that was aggressive for mud but runs quiet on the road and these tire fit the bill, provide great traction in the woods and mud hole but on the road they handle good and run quiet. just exactly what I wanted. Would definitely but again

How can I find what each tire Weighs?
    vern t on Jan 8, 2018
Debating on ordering these tires. Wanted to go with a 28" tire but only have 12" rims. Can you mount the 28x10x12 on stock outlander xt rims on the front? or would i have to get the 27x9 and 27x11 tires?

Which sizes will keep the 50" measurement?
    Keith H on Sep 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The stock tire sizes will keep the 50" width. The stock sizes that came on the RZR 800 are 25x8-12 for the front and 25x10-12 for the rear.
Will I be able to fit 30x10x14 on a maverick xxc with no lift also how wide would those make me ride?
    anthony f on Jan 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: From what I can see there would be no problem putting a 30x10-14 tire on your Can-Am Maverick X xc. Hopefully this helps.
Would you recommend this tire on a 2016 Grizzly 700 4x4 or is it too stiff??
    kevin k on Feb 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I guess it depends on your riding style, terrain and what you like but I have them on my 800 Sportsman and I like them a lot. I ride in the Rockies of Colorado that can have packed dirt to loose rock to water and mud without issue. Sorry I can't give you a definitive "yes" or "no" answer.
Do these tires run true to size?
    Thomas B on Jan 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have 5 of them, 28x10x12, and they are 28" tall.
I have a 2015 Polaris Sportsman Sp and I’m looking at these Blackwater Evo tires but I want to use my stock 14” rims. Because of the rims I have to go to the 27X9 And the 27X11’s. will these tires be to big? Too heavy? Will I need spacers? Can I get away without doing a clutch kit or is it necessary? Thanks for you help.
    Don B on Apr 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Your stock size 26? If so, no prob going to 27, no clutching needed, dont think weight will be an issue. These are a great all around tire with the added security of the 8 ply carcass for puncture resistance.
Is this tire good for plowing snow and what psi should they be at?
    A shopper on Nov 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've never plowed snow w/ them. Live in the desert, so not much snow. They do have good traction in snow, if you don't high center! When that happens, I don't think it matters what tire you have. Good all around tire for me!
Have 2017 Polaris RZR900 EPS with stock 26x8x12 and 26x9x12. What is the largest Evo tire I

    A shopper on Feb 16, 2018
BEST ANSWER: you could go as tall as a 30 inch tire without rubbing no sure about the with though with stock wheels

How true to size do these tires run? Big or small?
    Thomas B on Jan 5, 2017

I bought 26" ITP Blackwater Evos for my 2015 polaris touring 850 eps. How many psi of air should I have in my tires for regular trail riding in NH and WV trails?
    RUEL P on Feb 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have 28” x 10” on my 2016 570 RZR . I run 7 psi in rear and 6 psi in front, I ride on trails with lots of big rocks, any higher pressure the ride is to hard. If u ride fast this may not work for u. The side walls on the tires bulge a little but are holding up so far. On hard smooth trails I add 2 to 3 Psi more front and rear. The Blackwaters are the best tires I every had in the last 30 years of riding. Good luck, Bob
Gearing up for winter and im looking for a tire that truly excels in deep snow like 2.5 to 3.5 ft deep is this a good choice?
    Shawn R on Aug 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The ITP Blackwater Evolution is a great tire. I had great performance from this tire in deep mud and snow conditions. The tire wears very well. Although on hard pack with the deep lugs it is a little bumpy riding as you would expect with any deep lug tire.
I will buy this tire again for sure.
I have a 2014 wildcat I will be putting a lift on it soon. I just need to know if I get 14x7 5+2 wheels and run 28x9x14 in front and 28x10x14 in rear would that work out?
    steve d on Jan 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but because of the offset you will be a little wider than stock~2" With that said, we have raced our Sport with the Blackwater Evolution tire. It has done great in mud, medium and hard pack, dry etc.. They are extremely touh and im sure you will love them.

I have the 2016 Yamaha Wolverine R Spec with stock tires and rims with a 2 inch lift kit. I am interested in buying ITP Blackwater Evolutions and keeping my stock rims. Will these fit on my stock rims without rubbing or needing other adjustments, clutch etc? My current tire size on the stock rims are as follows, front: 26x8-12, rear:26x10-12. If they fit can you recommend the correct tire size to buy for both front and rear? Thanks in advance for any advice.
    Bob P on Apr 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I put these on a Can Am 2015 XMR 1000cc and have I inch of room left when fully turned. My unit came with the heavy duty clutch. If your going big you will want some extra horses to turn them if you want to win the race. I have the 30in on mine and love em.
How is this tire in sand (relative to other all- terrain tires)? Thanks
    Thomas B on Jan 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These tires are great in the sand if you run them at approx 1lb of pressure or less. If you run them at normal PSI they will only dig and bury you in the sand, which was my personal experience during my first run in the dunes. These tires have a very strong sidewall, so you have to let out quite a bit of air in order to get them to flatten out a bit. Even at very low pressure, I didn't have trouble with the bead coming loose.
Would I need a Clutch kit to run the 30x10x12's on my Maverick Max Xrs?
    Michael R on Mar 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think you would get away without needing a clutch kit, I run them on my Yamaha Viking 700 which has about 50hp and they are a fantastic tire in all terrains including deep water and mud. I have had outlaws, silverbacks, big horn 2.0, swampwitches and they are by far my favorite tire. You cannot go wrong with a set of Blackwaters. Cheers

How do these BW Evo's ride on pavement and hard pack? Are they loud or do they vibrate much?
    A shopper on Feb 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can hear the tires but they are not excessively loud. The ride is good. A little stiff but good. Only down fall I have found is if you do alot of pavement riding, the can wear fairly quick! Great tire tho. Works great on all surfaces and in the mud.

Looking at 30s for my ranger 800 does the 2 in forward a-arm give enough room to fit?
    A shopper on Dec 26, 2016

I would say 30's with forward A-arms will fit no problem.

I love the tire, best tire for a UTV IMO. However you should get a clutch kit with 30's, because the tire is so heavy
