    Best tires I ever had
The tires are great on the trail and in most mud. Ride Ok on the roads. They show very little wear after a year. Work well in snow.

    Great all around tire!
Haven't had them long enough to determine tread life, but for everything else, I love these tires. I put 28x10x12 Blackwater Evo's all the way around my 06 Foreman. It has some "knobby vibe" at low speeds on the driveway, but after you get rolling, they ride great. They all 4 measure 28" at 6psi. Sidewalls are very heavy duty, and WAY thicker than the Swamp Lites they replaced. I do recommend letting someone with a tire machine mount them, as the beads are serious duty too. They grip better than the Swamp Lite, and aren't very "yard friendly", they will eat up your grass. Dirt, sand, and some light mud they have done better than any tire I've had yet. Steering is dramatically improved over the Swamp Lite. It takes less effort to turn, and the machine is much more responsive. Summer is coming, I'll try to remember to review again after I've had them in the deep mud, and report back on tread life as well. They weren't the cheapest tire, but I am happy I spent the extra coin on them.

Love these tires, very aggressive, great in the mud, and on sandy trails, not very comfortable on dirt roads, vibrates pretty bad, but tires are still pretty new

Good but stiff/heavy Quiet on blacktop Good looking Made in the USA Handle abuse
    Blackwater Evolution
Bought this tire because it is made in the USA
I care about jobs here in our country.
My Polaris Ranger 800XP Camo EPS came with Carlisle 25"x10x12 fronts 25"x11x12 rears
Hard size to acquire a match set.
I had to go with 26"x9x12 fronts
    26"x11x12 rears
I was concerned with power loss going up from 25-26
Power is a little less snappy
    The Blackwater is a 6ply
Thinking more is better because I use my machine for the farm
However I think for what I do the tire is too stiff
Even at 8 psi it's hard to notice any sidewall flex
The tire changer had to apply extra effort to mount these tires
A 4 ply tire would be nicer
    The ride is noticeably harsher
However on blacktop the tire is surprisingly quiet for the tread depth and aggressive lugs
The tire has great traction in the woods and dirt
It packs up in red clay but you can throw them clean.
The OEM Carlisle tire is too weak for the ranger if you use it on the farm and susceptible to punctures
The Blackwater is definitely a tough tire but I would like to see a lighter more flex version.
The Blackwater would be about right for a replacement tire on say a Kubota RTV or one of the powerfully fast super UTV's.
But maybe a little overkill for my Ranger 800XP

    Best tire I’ve owned
I had these tires on my Outlander Max 650 and they were great. Smooth on hard pack and dig you out of deep mud. Just bought a new 850 and though the stock tires look good,
These worked so well a friend bought a set.
I need the Evolutions on the new one.

How can I find what each tire Weighs?

Debating on ordering these tires. Wanted to go with a 28" tire but only have 12" rims. Can you mount the 28x10x12 on stock outlander xt rims on the front? or would i have to get the 27x9 and 27x11 tires?

Will I be able to fit 30x10x14 on a maverick xxc with no lift also how wide would those make me ride?
    anthony f on Jan 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: From what I can see there would be no problem putting a 30x10-14 tire on your Can-Am Maverick X xc. Hopefully this helps.
Would you recommend this tire on a 2016 Grizzly 700 4x4 or is it too stiff??
    kevin k on Feb 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I guess it depends on your riding style, terrain and what you like but I have them on my 800 Sportsman and I like them a lot. I ride in the Rockies of Colorado that can have packed dirt to loose rock to water and mud without issue. Sorry I can't give you a definitive "yes" or "no" answer.
Do these tires run true to size?

Is this tire good for plowing snow and what psi should they be at?
    A shopper on Nov 4, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've never plowed snow w/ them. Live in the desert, so not much snow. They do have good traction in snow, if you don't high center! When that happens, I don't think it matters what tire you have. Good all around tire for me!
How true to size do these tires run? Big or small?
    Thomas B on Jan 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They are smaller then the size listed on the tire!
I bought 26" ITP Blackwater Evos for my 2015 polaris touring 850 eps. How many psi of air should I have in my tires for regular trail riding in NH and WV trails?
    RUEL P on Feb 3, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have 28” x 10” on my 2016 570 RZR . I run 7 psi in rear and 6 psi in front, I ride on trails with lots of big rocks, any higher pressure the ride is to hard. If u ride fast this may not work for u. The side walls on the tires bulge a little but are holding up so far. On hard smooth trails I add 2 to 3 Psi more front and rear. The Blackwaters are the best tires I every had in the last 30 years of riding. Good luck, Bob
Gearing up for winter and im looking for a tire that truly excels in deep snow like 2.5 to 3.5 ft deep is this a good choice?
    Shawn R on Aug 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The ITP Blackwater Evolution is a great tire. I had great performance from this tire in deep mud and snow conditions. The tire wears very well. Although on hard pack with the deep lugs it is a little bumpy riding as you would expect with any deep lug tire.
I will buy this tire again for sure.
I have a 2014 wildcat I will be putting a lift on it soon. I just need to know if I get 14x7 5+2 wheels and run 28x9x14 in front and 28x10x14 in rear would that work out?
    steve d on Jan 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but because of the offset you will be a little wider than stock~2" With that said, we have raced our Sport with the Blackwater Evolution tire. It has done great in mud, medium and hard pack, dry etc.. They are extremely touh and im sure you will love them.

Will these fit on my stock rims without rubbing or needing other adjustments, clutch etc? My current tire size on the stock rims are as follows, front: 26x8-12, rear:26x10-12. If they fit can you recommend the correct tire size to buy for both front and rear? Thanks in advance for any advice.

BEST ANSWER: I put these on a Can Am 2015 XMR 1000cc and have I inch of room left when fully turned. My unit came with the heavy duty clutch. If your going big you will want some extra horses to turn them if you want to win the race. I have the 30in on mine and love em.
How is this tire in sand (relative to other all- terrain tires)? Thanks
    Thomas B on Jan 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These tires are great in the sand if you run them at approx 1lb of pressure or less. If you run them at normal PSI they will only dig and bury you in the sand, which was my personal experience during my first run in the dunes. These tires have a very strong sidewall, so you have to let out quite a bit of air in order to get them to flatten out a bit. Even at very low pressure, I didn't have trouble with the bead coming loose.
Would I need a Clutch kit to run the 30x10x12's on my Maverick Max Xrs?
    Michael R on Mar 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think you would get away without needing a clutch kit, I run them on my Yamaha Viking 700 which has about 50hp and they are a fantastic tire in all terrains including deep water and mud. I have had outlaws, silverbacks, big horn 2.0, swampwitches and they are by far my favorite tire. You cannot go wrong with a set of Blackwaters. Cheers
How do these BW Evo's ride on pavement and hard pack? Are they loud or do they vibrate much?
    A shopper on Feb 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You can hear the tires but they are not excessively loud. The ride is good. A little stiff but good. Only down fall I have found is if you do alot of pavement riding, the can wear fairly quick! Great tire tho. Works great on all surfaces and in the mud.
