    great tire for daily riding
I have used the Stealth tires before on other bikes but not on my 1125r till now. I commute 120 miles a day. This trip takes me right through the state forest. I found that I used the tires from edge to edge, both front and rear, without any concern for traction. When the front tire is starting to lose traction it gives you a nice warning before just tucking under, as some tires do. The rear tire will give a controlled slide ,at considerable lean angles, without letting go. I am very pleased with the performance and longevity of these tires. I have gone on average 5,000 miles to a set. Normal for sport bike tires.

    Like to a blanket
I put a set of these tyres on my 2000 model X1 lightning buell. 180x 17 on the rear. 4500 km and rear is just ready for replacement but still legal i guess. Front to rear id say youd almost get 2 to 1. Nothing unusual there. Im also 120KG in my socks.

I ride with a lot of other buellers and they said they just wouldnt try a tyre so cheep when we ride as hard as we do. Nice progressive lean in although i did notice they tried to stand you up more when aplying front brake in corners. May just have been because old tyres were knackered. Unlike a lot of other tyres ive tried there doesnt seem to be any surprises. when she starts loosing grip its very progressive and you have great feel. Its been dependable in the wet buy i dont ride stupidly when its wet. Also these are the only tyres I can say that i have been able to completely destroy the chicken strips front and back. Love em and will be buying them again. For the money I cant find better.

    DO NOT BUY
AVOID= this tire will not break in like you want, i rode all day put bout 400 miles on it on a 2009 r6 will not hook up can not ride a wheelie the tire will just spin out

just will not get traction unless you do a burn out nobody wants to have to burn out every time they want to cruise

i ride dunlop q2 and will never buy the stealth again after riding this brand should have stuck with the q2, spend the extra money, your body and bike are worth it

Shinko 003 Stealth Rear Motorcycle Tire
A nice case where "you get what you pay for" isn't quite right. These tyres are down on price, but not down on grip or quality. What you get for your cash is a great tyre with good grip and a reasonable life expectancy for a fantastic price.

Shinko bought all the moulds, recipes and equipment from the old Yokohama factory after they decided not to rebuild after the 1995 earthquake in Kobe, so they're basically Yokohama's which were always good tyres.

I had an older pair of the touring Shinko tyres on my Blackbird and they did the job nicely. Now I'm giving the stickier versions a go and haven't been dissapointed.

The front I reviewed as a 4 stars and good, they didn't get 5 stars due to being a bit slow and heavy on turn in compared to the much more expensive Dunlops, Michelins .... etc. The Rear feels great though and no issues with it at all.
