I have a few bikes I used this in. The XR650R Is notorious for overheating and my bike does. I have a trail tech and the thermostat read 27 degrees cooler. So after draining and filling with this engine ice I was really surprised what the temp read. It's good stuff. I recommend this to anyone that is servicing or looking for a cooler running bike.
Switched to this in my 2002 YZ 426f, the bike used to run hot on a 50/50 mix, it would over heat pretty easy on the trail. This WORKS it keeps the bike much cooler the over heating issue went away i feel much better using this.
I raise the 2009 KTM 300 XC this product is work great for me for the past year Good product but I have switched back to what my bike calls for due to a fresh rebuild
I've put this in both of my MX bikes as soon as I got them home from the dealer. I've never had an issue with overheating even when riding local tracks in Phoenix in the hot summer months.
Best dam stuff to use in the KTM 300 Xcw. Drain coolant, fill with distilled water, run bike for a minute or so, repeat 3 times. Fill with engine ice and forget it.
I've used other coolants and would always bubble over. Since i've started using engine ice the bubble overs and overheating have stopped. This stuff is legit.
Can't argue with the other positive reviews you'll read along with this one. Keeps the temps cool and it's the best stuff on the market. I put it in my bike right after I bought it and all the guys I ride with swear by it.
I went down to AZ with a bottle of this sitting in the covered trailer. imagine how hot it gets in a covered trailer in the summer in AZ. Once we got to Glamis we filled the machines with this stuff and as we grabbed it out of the trailer it was cool to the touch like all the ice had just melted in the big goulp cool. I was Surprised to say the least! Wont be using anything else ever!
Definitely keeps the temps down on hot days, not sure on how long it lasts seemed to break down quite a bit over a year of riding. Thats about 100 hours
Reduces engine temperature and safe for environment
I have seen reduction of temperatures on the Temp gauge. Bio degradable, so safer for the environment and your pets. Make sure you flush coolant system of Ethylene glycol coolant, before filling with this. Great product.
My '10 RMZ450 was getting hot all too easily on the trails, and after some research I decided to give this a try before taking any more extreme (read: expensive) measures to alleviate the problem. Flushed the old coolant, and filled my bike with what ended up being about half a bottle of this and have not had issues with overheating since. I'm sure speed and other things have aided in that as well, but the bike does run cooler since switching to Engine Ice. I will be using this is all my vehicles from now on.
I ride a 2011 crf450r and I've had issues with overheating on trails. So I wanted to find out what I could do that didn't cost a bunch to help resolve my issue. Looking on forums everyone recommended engine ice so I gave it a try. Worked great and will continue to use it.
I run engine ice in both my KX450F and my ZX10R, out in AZ this is a must. I commonly compared engine temperatures on my buddies and my ZX10R (same year, his had conventional coolant) mine was always 20-30 degrees cooler, I also have 25k more miles than him.
BEST ANSWER:I have successfully used Engine Ice in no less than 6 motorcycles (dirt and road bikes) and a Polaris 400 HO. The manufacturer specifies that you thoroughly flush your system and then run their product undiluted. It is by far the best I have used. There are other products that have a higher boiling point; however, if you think about it, you would rather know that your engine is running that hot, because if it is, you sure don't want to keep running it. Engine Ice is the best of both worlds.
Should work on any veichle. High Quality coolant. Might be costly with a big 4x4, not sure of their coolant capacity. I run it in my race quad and seems to work better than prestone.

Engine ice will work with any/every machine, but it is a MUST that you drain your previous coolant to run engine ice and don't mix it with conventional coolant! Hope this helps! And this stuff ROCKS! It definitely brought my engine temperature down enough to stop making it boil-over in the woods.
Will the one thing if engine ice be enough for a Kx450f??

BEST ANSWER:Yes. It should be enough with a little left over. If it is not enough add some distilled water till the radiator is full. A little water will not hurt the performance of the engine ice.
check your manual to the amount shown on the bottle, i dont know why it wouldnt be should be plenty and then some, ive filled 2 bikes with one jug and one had an overflow compartment for extended trail rides

One 64 oz bottle of engine ice = 1.89271 liters. A 2006 KX450F total coolant capacity is 1.1 liters. 1.1 liters = 37.1954 oz. One bottle should be enough for a 2006 KX450F
BEST ANSWER:Yes this will be plenty for your quad, we have switched both my brothers over to engine ice and we had plenty left over with a bottle for each one.
Run this in all of our race bikes and are very happy with its performance.

BEST ANSWER:This is directly from the Engine Ice Webpage. Answer: "We recommend you never mix ANY TYPE of coolant and antifreeze products. One reason is that propylene glycol and ethylene glycol do not mix well together. Another reason is that just because the base fluid may be similar, other additives and ingredients may not be. Just as you would not mix oils, and for the same reasons, you should not mix coolants and types of antifreeze."

This isn't really an answer because I don't know for certain but I would look at the ingredients and unless I see something that clashes I would think you'd be fine. I think all of these things work off of the same basic principles and have the same basic makeup. Maybe a chemist will come in and give you a better answer.
BEST ANSWER:Before you do, do your research. Matt from the online videos WORKSHOP for engines did a series of tests that prove that this stuff is not good and why you should stick with 50/50.
