Refreshed for their spring 2017 release, the Klim Induction is the same ultra-durable mesh jacket as previous years, but with a handful of refinements that make the jacket perform even better for hot-weather touring and adventure riding.

The biggest change for the new Induction is the exclusion of the waterproof liner that was in previous models. With the liner gone you’ll need to rely on a separate waterproof outer shell or jacket. But, without the liner you get an excellent fit, zero awkward material bunching, and improved ventilation. That more than makes up the difference in our opinion.

High-tenacity fabrics and Klim’s Karbonite™ Mesh still make up the jacket’s main construction for an unreal level of abrasion resistance compared to other mesh jackets, and you can still expect an excellent selection of storage, usability, and ergonomic features that make the Induction one of the best premium, hot-weather options available.
