    Special Notes:

    • *This is a UNIVERSAL fit CV boot and may require trimming of any excess rubber.
Whether you ride trails or use your vehicle for work it’s not uncommon for a CV boot to require replacement. Fortunately there is a new tool on the market that makes the job easier than ever before. Rather than removing the entire axle from the differential all you need to do is remove the wheel and outer knuckle exposing the CV axle. The All Balls EZ Trail CV Boot let you slide the universal boot over the cone and then the cone goes over the CV joint and allows you to slide the boot onto the axle.
    • Expandable universal cv boot, slides and expands over reusable cone tool for trail side cv boot replacement.
    • Material is expandable yet tough enough to be a permanent fix.
    • Two clamping diameters ensure a good fit on most vehicles.
    • Boot material stays flexible even in extremely cold temperatures.
    • Save your expensive axles carry a kit in your tool box as an inexpensive quick repair and never miss a ride.
    • Kit includes one universal boot, one reusable cone tool, two stainless steel clamps, grease pack, silicone cone lube and instructions.
    • Lithium based Molybdenum Grease insures good lubrication for long CV joint life.
    • This is a universal fit CV boot and may require trimming of any excess rubber.

    Did not function as expected
The boot is nearly impossible to slide over the cone even with the use of the silicon or even white lithium grease. The will will not fit a 2018 outlander max as I had tried to use it for. The installation video must have a different size boot or cone in it because of how easy the guy slide it over the cone. I ended up taking the CV joint off of the axle shaft and using the All Balls boot that was specific for the 2018 outlander 650 max and it seemed to work fine. I was at least glad I was installing this at the house as the trail repair using this kit would not be possible with the given parts.

    Awful fit!!!!
After doing this I wish I just bought a new axle. The cone is a joke and a waste of money. the boot will not slde down it. Getting the large end of the boot on the knuckle was near imposiibe.

Won't work for average Asian guys like me
This works if you're a 300 lb Paul Bunyan. If you're a typical build Asian guy like me good luck. I lubed up the cone and thoroughly warmed up the boot and no way, no how could my Pacific Islander musculature and medium-size hands get that boot over the cone. I had to resort to cutting up a drinking bottle and used that. Even if you cut down the cone it's difficult. I used this on a 2015 Polaris Ranger and the boot is short, making it really hard to get the band clamp on properly. It works, but I would have bought an OEM boot if I could do it again.

    Don't waste your time
This is quite possibly the hardest possible way to change cv boots, It takes over 200 lbs of force to push the boot over the cone! so far i have gotten one to work successfully after working it for over an hour and haven't gotten another one on since, could have changed out 5 or 6 different boots by disassembling cvs in the amount of time i wasted trying to get this junk to work. The boots are OK but the install system is useless unless you are 250 lbs of pure muscle

    Works as shown in video.
Video makes it look easy, but it's not that easy. The cone could be smaller. It takes a lot of strength to get that boot over the cone. But it's a great time saver not having to take the axle out of the gear box. Bands are too sharp on edges. Can easily cut yourself which I did. Would never want to change a boot in the field.
