When you’re out riding the dunes, the last thing you want is to come over a ridge facing a rider coming from the opposite direction. The solution is to use a motorcycle flag – in fact, they’re required at sand dunes. An important safety measure, flags alert riders to nearby machines. Rising six feet in the air, they provide an extra level of visibility that is normally missing from riding on sand dunes (and other types of terrain where visibility can be impeded).
Since they naturally have a highly visible nature, flags aren’t just a safety precaution – they’re a way to express yourself as you ride. For this reason, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC carries several options of dirt bike flags. If you’re feeling patriotic, an American flag might be just your thing. Want a skull and crossbones look? We’ve got a few to choose from. We’ve got everything from flames to pink stars.
Of course, a flag isn’t very helpful without a way to mount it to your bike. That’s why we also stock several flag pole holders. A quick release pole holder makes it easy to remove your flag after the initial hardware is installed.
Don’t skimp on safety or style – buy a dirt bike flag and pole holder from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC today!

Good enough for a no tools option - but certainly not any less expensive. DO NOT TRY TO INSERT FLAG POLE WHILE THE MOUNT IS ON THE BIKE. The center piece of the mount is essentially a slightly too small rubber hole that you pressure fit your whip flag pole down into. You need to really press on this thing to get it in there - more than you can comfortably do while it's on the tail plastic of your machine. Also - it's impossible to tell if the flag is in all the way while it is mounted. Honestly got this to work by taking the whole thing off, getting the flag started into the opening, and then smacking it into the concrete until the flag was all the way through. Definitely needed persuading to get the flag pole in correctly. Did not have any issues after applying concrete. Also, the rubber arms that wrap the underside of your Tail plastic are just a little oddly shaped for my DRZ400, it works, but just barely.

It does make you easier to find a rider to avoid a collision on the dunes
