Details

  • If you run your atv or motorcycle in wet or muddy conditions, you might want to consider EBC's severe duty pads .
  • These pads are made of a new higher density compound which makes them longer wearing and more durable than other pads on the market .
  • When ordering brakes for the front of an ATV, please verify how many sets you need. One set replaces the brakes on one side of the machine.

No a bad pad
They are pretty decent pads for the price. They dont seem to hold up near as well as my DP brake pads do tho. I would recomend them for trail riding but not racing.

after riding a about 200 miles of mud and dust I pulled the pads to check them and they still look new.
Other than the slight squeak when I start out when its cold these have performed very well.

Best pads for Rhino
These are the best brake pads for a Yamaha Rhino. I tried several different brands and would get only a few rides out of them. The EBC severe duty pads have held up great. I do ride a lot of creeks and mud.

so if I order for the rear how many pads do I get? all 4 for the rear or only 2 for just one side?
Mark B on Aug 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: you will only get two pads for one side you need to order two kits to get both sides.
When replacing rear brake pads on my 2004 Yamaha rhino 660 with your pads do I need to re use the break pad shims from the OEM set up?
mike r on Mar 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I dont own a sideXside but I would say, yes if the new pads didn't come with any. All should look the same as when you took the old ones out. I re use the OEM shims on my Quads when replacing the brakes. My best advice since I dont a sideXside is to check through your owner's manual to make sure. I dont want to give bad advice to you.

when you say 1 set of brake pads per side, do you mean per wheel? or literally 1 set gets you front and back, whether left or right?
RON O on Sep 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: When ordering brakes for the front of an ATV, it is one set which replaces the brakes on one side of the machine. So, if you order 1 front, it will replace one front wheel either on the left or right.
