Good product.
Easy to install but not so easy to adjust. The brake pedal has to come off to make any adjustments to the plunger depth. A major improvement to having the return spring directly in front of the oil level bolt on the Husky TX300.

Fasst Rear brake kit
Big cup washer rubs against the frame protector.(I modified my frame protector otherwise it started to damage cup)
Big cup washer a little to deep collects dirt and mud so make sure you clean it blow out moisture
Minimal adjustment to get feel better than stock (should have come with stock and harder spring for price)
Makes it easier to check oil without spring in the way
Good idea a little improvement it could be a great product
without ktm lower nut use blue loctite to keep from loosening

fasst brake return spring
So far this has been a simple upgrade to the sloppy brake pedal feel. I don't lock the rear end up as easy as before which is a plus. I use the foot brake more, but still us by after market front lever brake from revloc when I hit the tight stuff.

Problem on 2019 KTM
2019 KTM 450 XCF frame guards need to be cut and clearanced so the coil bucket doesn't rub and push against them. FasstCo claims no lock nut is required and to run the bucket up against the pushrod with no nut. This would've been great info to include if there were instructions.

Simple product with great results
This adds more resistance to the brake pedal. It gives more feel to the rear brake so it doesn’t feel as touchy.

DRZ 400 version fits my LTZ 400 also!
I used this setup in conjunction with a Zeta DRZ 400 clevis on my LTZ 400 quad, much cleaner and precise than oem springs setup.

My LTZ 400 is an 09 EFI version, used solely for racing so the wiring harness is stripped down and no lights. This allowed me to remove the brake light switch, pigtail, return spring, and really clean up the brake pedal area on my Z.

Easy to install works great
The fasst rear brake spring is easy to install it took only 10 min to put it on. I also like how the rear brake pedal feels and works. It is much more responsive and it is adjustable as well. I am glad that I bought this for my KTM.

Works great
It does solve the problem I hade with the stock brake feel. The one thing I didn't like about this upgrade is it holds dirt and grime on the lip of the bottom.

I installed mine but I now realize that there is no more room to put a jam nut for the clevis so my brake pedal adjustment can move over time with vibration. In the video, at 2:20 you can see that you don't even put one... The cup is too thick in my opinion. Are we suppose to put 1 jam nut for the cup and 1 jam nut for the clevis?
Guillaume D on Apr 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I installed mine according to instruction and have never had a problem without a lock nut. Have them 0n 2017 Husky and 2016 YZF. Have had them on 2 other bikes also.
The 6mm kit came with a lock nut, the 8mm kit did not. Why? Confirmed with RM that the nut wasn’t just missing from the 8mm kit but got no explanation why installation would be any different between the two kits.
Craig A on May 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I didn't use the locknut that came with mine anyway. After a thousand miles or so with the spring, no locknut, and no problems on my KTM, pretty sure it's not necessary.
Twenty bucks for a spring and a nut? Surely these parts can be had at a hardware store for much much less. Any comments?
A shopper on Jun 13, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The pic varies by model, the one that came for my RM was all one machined piece with a retainer lip for the supplied spring. This a cool little piece and worked great for the rear brake update I was doing on my RM 125. How ever I doubt you could find the pieces at your local hardware store however you could possibly fabricate one for more than 20 bucks!
Anyone paired this with the Tusk brake clevis to know if the blues match? Being so close together I figured I would play it safe and not get blue but if anyone's already tried it I'd like to know.
Craig A on Apr 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I put the blue one on my 2017 kx450f works great.
Video shows a Fasst rear brake clevis on a ktm . When looking to find one for my Husky it doesn't show one for the husky or ktm in the options / machine profile. Lots of KTM and Husky owners might be interested ?
Jeff V on Jan 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately, we do not carry the Fasst rear Brake Clevis for a KTM or a Husky. I'll forward your suggest to our purchasing department for consideration.
