Don't waste your time or money.
This piece of junk didn't last for one rotor.I like to freshen up my rotor when I change brake pads. The abrasive balls disappeared before my eyes as I deglossed one rotor.I will go back to the random orbit sander.

Get those disks like new
After a while your brakes start to lose performance and unless you have a bead blaster or want to use sandpaper to clean the old glazing and chemicals off you need this. Instead of getting new rotors and wanting to get that braking performance back use this and get the circular contact area back and clean up the rotors.

Is this used for disc brakes also?
steven s on Feb 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it works great for disc brakes. I do a lot of track riding on my R1 and when switching compounds need to clean my rotors off. It also does a great job with my dirt bike rotors too.
Should the rotors be honed using all 3 grits?
A shopper on Dec 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, you only need to use one.
