Wonderful idea and incredibly well built from surprisingly light and strong material. A confidence builder reassuring you did it right and your chain won’t have a problem performing and maximize your chains life
This is a clever tool but it is a little hard to use resulting in inconsistent measurements of chain slack. For example I may take 3-4 measures and get a different result each time. Be sure to watch the you-tube videos on how to use it. Its hard to hold onto and takes some practice to use it correctly. Still, I like it and find I can at least get in the ballpark when adjusting my chain.
Took a while to get hang of using. Instructions need to be more pictures and details for average person to use. I have been using a machinist ruler for years and can do faster with it. Is accurate and with some practice will do well. For money spent worth price.
Any job you do should be done correct the first time. Your chain adjustment is as important as a valve adjustment or oil level. The 3 finger adjustment rule is a guess and can cause damage to other components on your motorcycle. Having the right tool for any job and using it will give you peace of mind on the trail or track. A small investment in tools and using them will save you money and time.
