I don't see why not as Polaris twins are basically motorcycle engines; similar loads, construction, and RPM usage. I wouldn't mix conventional and synthetic oils, do a full oil change with filter.

Todd VProbably no difference in the properties as long as the classifications are the same. I like this oil because it is the one recommended by Polaris. With so many of their atv’s running around, using their oil that they developed only makes sense. Plus if you’re ever out on the road you can get it anywhere there is a Polaris dealership. Chris PThe PS-4 is used and also the PS-4 Extreme. If you have owners manual it should suggest either one.
David HBoth oils you are comparing here are the Polaris PS-4 plus oils. the Plus is rated for ambient temperatures -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 100.
