Bought Kit to replace bad chain
Replaced chain with frozen link. This kit had stock sprockets (15/43). My used bike came with a 1 tooth higher (16t) front for better hwy RPMs. Woods riding, RPMs were to low. The lower tooth front helps alot off road but of course means higher RPMs on the road. Fit without issues. Came with a master link

Wish I would have gotten the gold X ring chain set.
Have the chain broke in now and it has done exactly as the factory chain and sprockets did for 18,000 miles. Same weight as factory also.

durable and functional
This is the 3rd one of these kits I have purchased (more than one bike). The quality is every bit as good as a more expensive set up. Steel sprockets and the the o-ring chain will last for years if you keep it properly cleaned and lubed.

Works fine for me
I'm not a racer, but I do put some regular stress and strain on my chain rings on rocky roads in the desert and mountains. These seem to work fine, and they're cheap enough that I don't wait until the teeth are laying over sideways before changing.

Do you reuse the bolts for the rear sprocket, or does it come with new, or do I need to buy new ones?
Steven K on Feb 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It does not come with bolts. I have never replaced the bolts. I have probably gone through at least 2 chain and sprocket sets in the 12 years I have had this 2000 KTM and a couple more on the Honda I had before and never had a bolt problem. I do use loctite on them.
what is the best way to choose a chain and sprocket kit with so many types and brands ?
A shopper on Feb 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If you're looking for longevity, and low price, this is the way to go. If you care about looks, weight or running other than stock gear ratios, keep looking. Best way I've found without trying them is to find a good forum for the tyoe of riding you do and ask there. You'll get a wide variety of opinions but, you can generally get a feel for what will work for you. This is a good quality basic set, I've used them for years and have no complaints. If you find out you need a lower ratio, you can get a smaller front sprocket for about $9
