I love the Tusk D-Flex Handguards with integrated turn signals. They are tough, forgiving, sleek, and work extremely well. I fell on a flat track and busted the mount on my left side and needed a replacement, and was glad to see that Rocky Mountain sold the mounts separately. Insanely light, high quality, and got my handguard mounted back up.
If you have cheap handguards, chances are the mounts have that stupid pivoting design which allows them to bend and move every time you drop the bike. If you can't afford the expensive guards with the solid mount, then just buy the solid mount. You'll be happy.
I guess it did its job of protecting hands and controls but I did break one with a hit I thought was a little light to cause it to snap. But, I'll still give it 4 stars because I can type on the keyboard with all my fingers. :-)
mounted then close to the switch housings, nice length from levers, again no problems......did have to remove the bolt on the left side which held the factory handguard(bottom). that's about it, took a ride everything is still were it's suppose to be, just as much protection as the factory handguards ...thanks rm.atv
these mounts look great theyre easy to clean off and the hand guards that come with them are the best ive ever had also they have been super durable over the year they have had snow, ice ,and rocks thrown at them and they don't have a scratch. if they ever go bad i will definitely get another of the same set !!!!
