Renthal Aramid grips feature the most advanced compound to date. Millions of randomly aligned Kevlar® Aramid resin particles are suspended in the base material. As the grip is used, more of this Aramid resin is exposed, resisting wear whilst retaining a tacky feel. This is our ultimate grip compound.
Tapered grip feature the same structure that provide Dual series grips the durability, feel and comfort. In addition the grip features a unique tapered diamond structure. The Diamonds taper down from large at the thumb to regular at the end. This mirrors a closed fist and provides the highest levels of grip available.
Another great feature of these Renthal Aramid grips is the half-waffle design. The half-waffle construction is prevalent among MX grips because it caters to both comfort (smooth on the palms) and control (waffle on the fingers). And because the grips are tapered, you'll be able to enjoy a slightly thicker diameter near your thumbs.
Renthal has developed a special Aramid reinforced grip, with all the properties you would expect from a Renthal grip along with the added life-extending properties of Aramid.
The grip's Aramid layer offers three times the life of the regular compound, which allows Renthal to use a very supple matrix material.
This revolutionary material lasts three times as long as Renthal's regular soft material.
These Renthal grips are for use with twist throttles.
If you use glue on the installation of Renthal grips, due to the specific compound, only Renthal grip glue will work.

Used to like the odi half waffles but now I only but these. They last at least 2 times and long, they do not rip. They also are tackier and grip better than regular grip compound. They cost a little extra but are worth it.
Been using these Grips for several years And they have been Awesome my son has been racing Gncc now for 10 years and that's the only grips he likes they hold up really well and he likes the way they feel
Although they're expensive and dont last the longest these are my preferred grip. They offer excellent levels of traction and feel without being to caustic to grips and hands. Im my case my hands dont get a beat up running these over say the Renthal soft/medium diamond grips. Im not super stoked at the $17 price or the fact they show significant wear around the 10 hour mark but the performance is what keeps me coming back.
I bought these to replace the ODI lock on's that came on my 2017 XC300. They are by far my favorite grip to use. They hold up great, last forever, always stay soft and tacky and have never let me down. *note* On the 17 KTM's, they use a different throttle housing than they have in all years past, so I replaced it with a G2....that's how much I enjoy these grips.
I have 2 teenage boys on YZ250F's. After trying several grips they quickly zeroed in on these, and now will not use anything else. Arms don't get tired trying too hard to maintain a grip during the race.
