I love these grips, and have run them on several bikes. They feel just a touch larger than comparable other brands, with a soft tacky feel, which to me is fantastic. They offer great comfort and feedback at the same time. These go right on any new bike or bars I get. -m-2017 YAMAHA YZ250F--
I always ran either the regular medium half waffle or soft half waffle but recently switched to these Dual Compounds and they are awesome. The wear is great, they are comfortable and I've never had an issue with the two sets I've used. I'll definitely continue buying these
This is my second set of Renthal Dual Compound grips for my 350 sxf. Not only do they have a good, solid feel and great grip, but they also last as long or longer than any others I've tried. They come highly recommended.
Been running various version of Renthal grips over the years but always return to the half waffle. When installed correctly they do not spin and the channels for safety wire are a nice addition. Ride at least 1 time a week and normally get a full season out of a set so the wear very well, no issues with end tearing since I run bark busters.
Look no further, these are the only grips you'll ever need. The tapered diamond design is awesome. These grips are actually designed for people with severe to moderate arm pump like me. Symptoms may include: whiskey throttle, crashing right before the finish line, exasperation and broken bones.
these grips last a long time. if you crash they might rip but usually, it's not bad enough to justify replacing them. they don't wear through too easy either. these are now the only grips I buy because they're worth the money and last at least 40-50 hours of seat time
The grips feel really good in your hands, but for being dual compound the ends are not very tough. I had them tear from small slide out put downs. Thought the ends would have been tougher. Also grip glue doesn't seem to work very well with these grips.
Nice grip and feel. I recently dumped the bike on it's side going up a big rock face. The bike slipped back propped on the grip (luckily saving the entire side of the bike from getting tore up do to the prop angle). The grip suffered a minor tear on the reinforced end, but surely a standard grip would have had the end ripped off exposing the bar end. Pleased with these grips so far.
I've always wanted grips like these on my bikes but never got around to getting them. When it comes to grips get good ones its well worth it. They are extremely gripy and comfortable and easy to install.
I really liked these grips. Nice, soft feel, very grippy, and pretty good wear, but... I've had many sets of the Kevlar grips, which last a lot longer, with all the same wonderful qualities. Those are still my favorite, and well with the extra few bucks.
These grips seem to wear a good bit,and I've never had a problem with my hads slipping off.I do feel like they are thin and don't dampin' as much vibrations as other grips do.That is why I gave 4 stars. Good over all product with log wear charactistics.I used these on Tusk Chub Bars CR High bend on a 2001 KTM200EXC. I ride harescrambles and single track.
These grips are the answer to the 50/50 problem: they offer the sensational soft grip of the 50/50s, with the durability of the rock-hard firm grips (which the 50/50s lack). They can take a beating and still stay strong. THESE ARE THE BEST RENTHAL GRIPS, BAR NONE.
