    Needed more room on bars
Perfect for Ktm 500 exc-f. I switched bars and clutch perch wouldn’t fit where I needed it to be so this slimmed down version was perfect.

    Works Great
The installation was very easy (plug and play). I did have some issues with my 2018 KTM bars as this was a bit loose on there. I had a rubber grommet from a RAM mount that I used to get the fit correct.

    Works perfect.
Took about 10 minutes to install. Plug and play. Works great! Did have to use a small strip of rough electrical tape on half of bar to get solid fit and no slipping. Works as advertised. Very happy.

    Much more compact than stock
This switch is much narrower than stock and also doesn't protrude out front as much so it doesn't interfere with the clutch lever. Another plus is the fact you can turn the headlight completely off to preserve bulb life. Took a little time getting used to the slightly different switch design but it isn't any more difficult to manipulate. There is also tiny LEDs on top of the switch that shows the turn signal working, headlight on and high beam are working. This helps because when I installed the LED turn signals they worked like hazard lights until I removed the bulb from the indicator behind the front plate, leaving no way to know if the turn signals are on. With the new switch system, it flashes when the turn signals are on and it's pretty bright and right on top of the switch array. Installation was very easy; unplug the old switch and remove it then plug the new switch in and install it on the bars. Took me around 10 minutes including putting the tools away. I definitely recommend this switch system.

    Smaller then stock
i got this so I could get the clutch lever closer to the grip. The indicator lights on top are nice both trun and high low head light so you no longer need the stick trun indicator light if you use led trun signals on some bikes the stock trun indicator light well cause your turn signals to all flash unless you remove the bulb or reword it.

    Nice upgrade.
Almost a perfect score Sicass. The fitment is a little bit cheap.I thought for the money it would have been a bit more robust in design, although I am not complaining too loudly,it works great !

Beats the stock switch and I can turn my headlight on or off with this switch, something you can't do with the stock OEM KTM switch.Great design and function. Thanks you Sicass.

Great for turning off the lights when you don't need em.
Pretty decent product for a decent price. Not sure why the bike doesn't come stock with a switch to be able to turn lights on and off to conserve battery power, I imagine due to safety and legality? One complaint is the little light gismo that protrudes out of the switch box is chinzy and cheap looking (could have a more polished look or at least a weatherproof seal) but I haven't had any problems with it even in the rain.

Decent but could be much better
This is a great solution to take care of the "clutch vs switch" issue but you'd think that for the amount of money this switch costs that it would at least stay in place. It will undoubtedly move on the bars so you have to wrap with electric tape before. The led on top is pretty cheezy as well.

Would this work for switching between high and low beam on a baja designs XL pro headlight for a 2010 ktm 530 exc-r? Or would I need the dimming harness from baja designs to connect on to the switch?
    Tyler F on Aug 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No this will not work. Baja Designs XL Pro does not have a high beam and low beam pattern. Also keep in mind that if you ride street with that light you are opening yourself up to liability as it is not a DOT light and does not have a street safe beam pattern. Do yourself a favor and buy two cheap Chinese led bars. Point one low and hook it to the low beam circuit and point one high and hook it up to the high beam circuit. You would have the redundancy of having two lights and save yourself a lot of money while keeping the street legal light on the bike.
Is this switch plug and play for a 2017 Husky FE350?
    A shopper on Feb 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Had to modify it to fit my 2017 FE 350. If you don't care to have it close to the throttle it will go on without modification. If you want it where the OEM start button is, you will have to modify it. Just grind about an 1/8th" off of the top of the switch and underside of the metal throttle housing where the cable exit.
would this be a plug and play fit on the wiring harness of a 2019 husqvarna te300i?
    Donald B on Jun 20, 2019
    BEST ANSWER: Donald,
The 26-042 will not fit a TE stock harness. If you have the SICASS 21-266 kit installed, this is the same switch that came in the kit.
I've selected vehicle ('08 KTM 690 SMC) and it shows the Sicass Multi-bar switch with two connectors - Is that just a generic picture and the part #1720500001 a direct plug and play for my vehicle? My stock multi-bar switch has a single connector. Thanks in advance.
    Carlos V on Mar 8, 2019
BEST ANSWER: According to the fiche the L/S control switch used on the US model `08 690 SMC is the same as used on the US model EXC's. The 26-042, with the 6 and 3 pin connectors will be a direct plug in replacement.
Will this switch also turn off the tail lights ?
    dan h on Mar 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: That all depends on what bike you are putting it on and how you wire it up if it is the universal version, there is a tail light power wire. The tail light wire does not have power when the light switch is in the off position.

For the KTM EXC direct plug in version it depends on the model year and how the OEM wired the bike. The 2007-16 you can turn off the MAIN headlight bulb, but the tail light and DRL are hard wired. The 2017-19 EXC's (and HQV FE's) bikes are wired so that when you turn off the light switch the headlight and tail light are off.
I have a 19' KTM 500 EXC and from the Q&A it is plug and play. My question is on the LED string on top of the switch housing. How is that wired in?
    Mike B on Feb 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: There are 3 LED indicators, from left to right - BLUE = HIGH, YELLOW = TURN SIGNALS, RED = LOW.
The red indicator can be easily disabled by disconnecting a single wire near the 6 pin connector, the blue and yellow are wired internally.
Is this Sicass part #26-042, or #26-040?
    Rob on Dec 5, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This should be the 26-042. Make sure to order with the correct bike information in the "choose your vehicle" section
What do you do with the single Yellow wire that branches off the 6-pin stock connector ? I'm unable to remove the top half of stock cluster because it's still connected by the sing Yellow wire. The Wire goes to a small blue plastic harness where it joins with a single white wire and then they continue together somewhere.
    Daniel B on Feb 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Not sure,, I have a 500EXC KTM, it was plug and play. Make sure you ordered the right kit?
