The Tusk 15" Curved Tire Iron makes motorcycle tire changes and easier task. The 15" curved tire iron makes tire removal easy with its extra leverage, but really shines when installing tires. Its curved shape makes it easy to reach under the tire bead to reach the rim with less chance of scratching the rim. Made from forged steel, this tire iron is made to last.
Strong tire iron designed to make motorcycle tire changes and easier and quicker task.
15" length for leverage.
Unique curve that makes reaching under the bead when installing motorcycle tires easy with less chance of scratching the rim.
If you change your own dirt bike tires, I highly recommend this tool. Watch the video, order this tool and save the heartache (and your knuckles). I haven’t purchased a Tusk product yet that I haven’t enjoyed
Purchased this for trailside repairs, but have been fortunate enough, that we have not had to use it. It seems very durable, and easily thrown into the woods, when it slips off the rim, and smashes your finger.
I bought the Moose Tire Stand, too, but IMHO, these were the KEY to getting the mousse tire on. These give you LEVERAGE that makes the job easy. I bought 6. Maybe the Motion Pro are better but these worked fine for me on an 18" tire.
Works good for changing tires maybe it's me and they way I tried using it but it doesn't seem to grip the rim very well and have sent smaller spoons flying when it slipped but I primarily use it for the rim lock adjustments when using bibs
I dont know why I never got one before. I've purchased 4 of them, and they work fantastic! I did notice on 2 of them the tip on the extra curved end is thicker than others making it a little harder to get under the bead.
Good...but not as good as the comparable Motion Pro
I change a lot of tires. I change a lot of mousse too, so I needed to ensure I had a set of at least 6 curved irons. Bought several of these Tusk ones to augment my set of Motion Pro. The curve ends bent while being used side-by-side with the MP ones, which appear unaffected. Not worth the $3.50 you'll save.
After struggling with little tire spoons I decided to try this one. I am so glad I did. This tire spoon is priced exceptionally well and gets the job done with little effort. This is a great tool for those who are thinking of changing your own tires. I think I will be buying an extra one next time I make a tire purchase.
Bought this tire iron to help install a paddle tire for sand dunes. I needed the extra leverage the 15" spoon provides. I dont think I could have installed the paddle tire without it. Made it a breeze.
I ordered 3 of these. Upon my first tire change I broke one. Yes that thing snapped in half. I was shocked to say the least. Must have been some dirty material in the casting. R.M did send me a new one as soon as I reported it.
