Full Wrap-Around Protection
These Tusk hand guards mount easily and offer good protection. I've tested them out on a couple trees and they barely have a scratch. The hand guard rail is made of durable aluminum and the plastic guard is big enough to offer good protection from limbs and roost without looking gaudy. Would purchase them again.

Will not work with a G2 KLR stock handle-bars...
First off, this is my first purchase with Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. I ordered the Tusk D-Flex Pro Hand-guards for my 2008 KLR 650, which was recommended by their website. My first test fit, I noticed that these will not work with the KLR handlebars. My first correspondence with customer service was to determine which of their handlebars were these hand-guards designed to fit. I thought no problem, easy fix... nope... after several days of emails and online chatting, they could not tell me and only said that they are universal. I know for a fact that these were designed to fit someones bar to come up with the design. So then I proceeded to request a refund, but I was told that since I installed them there was no refund. I corrected them as I did a test fit and not a full install, but they would not budge. I then was requested to send them pictures of the test fit to see if tech support could help. I sent the pictures showing that they would not work with the stock bars. I was again told that I would have to bend], fabricate cut to make them fit as they were "universal". I kept asking, then why are they listed to fit a KLR G2. I've been doing everything they have asked for 2 weeks and still I can not mount the hand-guards to my KLR G2. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever felt with. I now have to file a dispute with my credit card company over a refund that I should have received, as now it's my only option. I have no problem returning them, I just want my money back so I can buy some that do work on my KLR G2.

I love these bark busters. I ride in Rand Colorado and the trees are so tight my friend cut a inch off each side of his handle bars so he could get through easier . So they work great for me

Good value
I would recommend these but in the future I will be buying different hardware. The Alan Bolts were too soft and rounded during installation. Now there rusting where I booger them up. The white looks nice new but once scratched it's easy to tell. Good for the price. Haven't bent when I've gone down. I'll buy another set for a different bike in the future.

Easy fit
Bought this to fit on a DR 650 with ProTaper 11/8 bar. The bars looked to be of excellent quality made of thick alloy. They also provide a lot of room around the grips so standard levers fit with no problem Some reviewers suggest the fit is not perfect - maybe so in that the handguard bar fit to the inner clamp could be better but when tightened down with provided bolts it looks fine. More importantly they feel really tough and upto the job. Good product.

Nice guards!
As with any hand guards, you have to do a little bending to have them fit properly, but once they're on they look great and do the job they're meant to do!

Will these fit 2017 Africa twin?
A shopper on Aug 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: these are made for dirt bikes only. i have seen some people with these on but we cannot guarantee that any hand guard will fit any bike because they are machine specific.
Will these fit a Suzuki DR650 with stock bars without having to modify the clutch and brake levers?
Jeff P on Aug 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I have installed these on my 2016 DR650SE with stock bars without re-adjusting anything at all. Good luck to you.
Does anyone know if they will fit a18 te 150 and how do I measure the handle bar ?
Shawn P on Jun 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I bought a set of these for a 2018 TE300. Perfect fit. The mounting brackets are for the bars of your choice, however, that TE150 comes with the 1 and 1/8 size standard. Not sure where they are measured for that exactly, but I believe it is at the bar mount area, which then tapers down smaller to the grip area. I really like the fit of these guards. A little more coverage
will these fit a Dr650 with no cutting of the clutch/brake lever ?
A shopper on Jan 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: yes. you shouldn't have to cut the brake or clutch levers.
I saw a review about these being easy to install on a gen 2 KLR650. any tips? I'm not seeing how they can go on
Terrance B on Feb 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: These are certainly NOT an easy install on a gen2 KLR. If you know what your doing, as well as what your getting in to, I would still recommend purchasing them. Here's what you'll need to do: Remove stock bar end weights, sawzall about 1/4" off the end of your stock handlebars, saw or grind off the welded on loop on the left side of your handlebars (that holds wires), go to lowes (because ace doesnt typically carry) and replace the Tusk bolt that screws their guards into the side of your handlebars with a (M8 i believe?) bolt that is countersunk as well as fully threaded (since your not using bar weights), and half the size of the tusk one (since your bars are now shorter). But yeah other than that it is pretty simple...
Will these fit a 2018 klx140G with stock handlebars?
Alan G on Mar 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would think it would fit most stock bars as long as they are 7/8 inch diameter.

A shopper on Sep 27, 2018
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Handguards
BEST ANSWER: The biggest differences would be that the design of the hand guards are different with a different shape in the plastics and the D-Flex Pros come with the option for 7/8" or 1 1/8" mounting hardware whereas the D-Flex comes with 7/8" mounting hardware with the 1 1/8" adapters available to be purchased separately.

Will this fit a 2014 XT250 and does the blue match the team Yamaha blue?
A shopper on Jul 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, these will work with that bike and the blue is not exactly like YZ blue but its very close.
Will these fit on a 2017 Kawasaki 450F? I have had problems with the location of the front brake line where it exits the master cylinder.
James O on Jan 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't know but i attached them to my 2009 Yamaha 250 YZF and with the tapered handle bars it was a challenge... They have 2 different hole diameters for the attachments and I bought the smaller one(s) so I had to move stuff around on the handle bars but it worked out..? Not quite where I really wanted them to be situated but good enough... Might try getting both sizes of attachments and see where it fits best...
Are the logos actually painted onto the plastic or are they just stickers you can remove for a cleaner look?
Peter V on May 22, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. The Tusk Logo is just a sticker that you will be able to remove from the black shield.
Any idea if these will fit on a Jr. size bike. My son has a KX65. If so, will they look goofy due to their size?
Daryl F on Apr 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I do not have the absolute answer, but these are mounted on my Husqvarna TE 300 and fit full size very nicely. They give large coverage to me. With the KX65 smaller size, I really dont think they would be a good match. The guard is wide for coverage. The aluminum bar mounting bracket is designed to mount at the end of the handlebar and the other end is designed to attach to a clamp in the center area of the bars. I would think the length would extend too far to the center. Hope this helps
What is the stock diameter for a Yamaha xt250 handlebar?
A shopper on Dec 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 7/8" steel.
Will these fit on a 2015 CRF 230F?
A shopper on Oct 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: They should. Just ensure that you get those made for whatever your stock bar size is. I'm pretty sure the the 230 only has 7/8 bars.
hello there. Will this covers fit 1994 BMW F650 funduro? cheers.
A shopper on Oct 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You have to know the diameter of your handle bars and then pick either 7/8 or 1-1/8. And then you may have to adjust brake and clutch levers to make room for the clamps.
Will they work with the tusk 7/8 bars? My acerbis ones won’t work
Alexander C on Apr 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not sure if this info will help. I have these mounted on tapered bars, which are 7/8 at the controls, and getting wider where the handguard clamps connect. If your asking if the clamps will clamp down tight on a 7/8 bar, I think they will. On my bike there is still about a .20" gap between the clamp halves, once its all bolted down tight. Looks to me like it would fit a 7/8 bar.
These will work for a 2001 yz125 right? Im sure they do just want to double check and is the stock bars 7/8?
Jordan S on Oct 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this type of hand guard is universal just make sure the mounts are for 7/8” and not 1 1/8”. I also recommend the ODI Emig grips, makes for a nice fit and finish.
These say "For Dirt Bikes Only". Why would these not work on a Yamaha XT250?
Khristopher D on Dec 3, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The handlebars of an XT250 will have a lot of switchgear (turn signal actuator, headlight switch, etc.) on them. It’s important you don’t cut the handlebars so there is enough handlebar to mount the inside clamps to the bars. Also, be sure you buy the correct size handguard. Steel And standard aluminum bars will be 7/8” diameter clamping area.
how difficult is the installation on a 2014 ktm 350exc?
is there any additional mounting hardware that needed?
MATT K on Oct 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi Matt, I have installed these on my 2016 DR 650 with stocked bars. Easy install but the mounting brackets were difficult to line up and are a little bit off but had plenty of threads to screw it on solidly. Have dropped the bike twice since the install and nothing got damaged. Sorry, I am not familiar with the KTM. Good luck.
Will these handguards mount to a Pro Taper contour handle bar?
Garrett D on Jun 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They mount universally to any bars, with that being said though the fit may not seem perfect due to the different bends of handlebars but spend some time adjusting and tweaking & they’ll work
Will these fit a 2005 Yamaha tw200?
michael L on Dec 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have installed these on a few different model bikes. Make sure you get the right handlebar clamp diameter and you should be good. You may have to do some slight bending of the aluminum protection bar to accommodate your specific bar bend.
will these fit renthal 7/8 fat bars?
Patrick R on Oct 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will. Just make sure you get the bar mounts for 7/8" and not the 1-1/8".
Do you know if a Crf125 big wheel will work?

Cameron V on Jul 9, 2018
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards
Tusk D-Flex Pro Handguards

KTM Renthal 7/8" Handlebars
BEST ANSWER: On the 7/8" dia just make sure you get the 7/8 mounts not the 1" mounts. The high bend bars should be fine, lots of adjustment that way. If you have a hydraulic clutch fitment is a little tricky but it works
is there a way to mount these to the triple clamp?
David W on Jan 13, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't know if Tusk makes a triple clamp mount, but I don't see why these wouldn't work with something like the G2 Ergos Mongo mount.

Will these fit on ProTaper EVO Handlebars?
Kenneth F on Jan 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Kenneth,
These fit my Pro Taper EVO Adventure bars on a DRZ400S without issue. Make sure you get the ones for 1-1/8" bars. I wasn't paying close enough attention when I ordered mine, ended up ones for 7/8' bars, and had to get different bar adapters.
Good luck!
Brett
Where do we get replacement screws? These are good products, but you must tighten the screws after every ride or they work free. I am trying to figure out how to replace the crews without having to replace the whole thing.
Kelly A on Jul 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: They are basic machine screws so most places like a hardware store will carry something that works. Take a screw with you and match it up. Also I used locktite when installing mine and they never come loose.
Will these fit my 2004 KTM 300 EXC?
Steve P on Feb 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: We put these on my wife’s 2004 KTM 200 EXC and they fit great. Just double check the handle bar size to ensure you get the right clamp size. I measured wrong and got the 7/8” clamps the first time and had to order the larger 1-1/8” ones.
i have a stock 2013 ktm250 sx , will this fit or do i have better options? thanks
Terry H on Feb 2, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes they will fit as long as you order the correct handlebar diameter. I’ve had several pairs and they are great for the money
