Great skid plates. Really saves the bottom of the quad from rocks and sticks.

The Tusk Quiet Glide skid plates are awesome. I managed to install onto my KRX4 without jacking up or setting on its side. Was a bit of an effort being 65 years old and lying on my back but it's doable. They are plenty thick enough to take some pounding and sliding. They also fit perfectly to my SXS.

In 18 years of traveling with ATV/UTV friends I have only had two flats and I fixed those with a plugging kit and some canned air,so, I'm not sure why I felt compelled to buy a spare tire carrier except that at 80 yrs old I don't want to have to walk to town for help if I break down with a flat that I can't fix. That happened to one of our group members about 2 months back. With this tire rack I can see thru my rear window and with some help I can get the spare up onto the rack and off fairly easily. I am feeling more at ease now regarding tire issues, but I still carry a tire repair kit and a pump just in case. Note, I would like to have had much longer mounting bolts on this item so I can mount the wheel on upside down in some cases.
