Very Satisfied
Alarm is loud. Easy to use. It comes with the battery already installed. It is not as sensitive as some people say. I had it on my bike in the back of my truck on a windy day and the alarm did not go off from the wind.

works as intended
Someone tried grabbing my bike out of the back of my truck yesterday. This lock remained locked in place on the front rotor but they busted the back plate off. I also had a cable & lock on it as well as a U lock on the rear wheel. I've used this lock several times a week for about a year now & I'm happy with the purchase. It's not a body guard but using this disk lock in a multiple layered security plan saved me an insurance claim on my new bike.

This thing is great
I can leave my bike in the back of my truck overnight with no worries. That is nice when you get home and are dead tired but plan to go back out the next day. It's is not too sensitive but there is no way anyone is even unstrapping the bike without it going off - and it is loud.

It is compact and I keep it in the console of my truck - so easy.

Plus you can't accidentally forget and bend your rotor bc you will set it off by just sitting on the bike before you even start it.

I love it.

OH so sensative... not kidding
This thing does a great job of protecting your bike, and also complains about being disturbed. When attached, any little bump sets it off... not kidding. My sister complains consistently about setting it off when she bumps into it in passing. It does its job well, get one. You will not regret the investment.

Will this be set off by strong winds? Im thinking it will from most reviews
Michael K on Dec 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Maybe hurricane force winds will set it off. It is not as sensitive as I thought it would be after reading some of these reviews. I was able to push my bike down softly and the alarm did not go off. I also had my lock on my bike with wind gusts up to 20mph in the back of my truck and the alarm did not go off. I was able to throw a comforter, which I use as a cover, over my bike and the alarm did not go off.
What is the battery life on it, and how do I go about changing it?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Can't answer the life question, I had mine now a couple of months and no battery issues. A tool comes with lock that enables the removal of the guts when off the bike and the battery is changed via this access, very straight forward.
how do you turn the sound off once it triggers?
A shopper on Aug 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Put the key in and unlock it. Once you turn the key it will disarm. Or let it run the cycle and it will reset itself.
What's the diameter of the pin?
A shopper on Apr 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: i believe the pin is under 1/4 inch. unfortunately i am 2000 km away from my lock until
friday. i will look at it then and answer again.
