The first time this saves your $150 riding pants from melting onto the pipe, it'll pay for itself. In addition, it takes a tremendous amount of abuse so your pipe doesn't have to. I used one on my 2013 KTM 500 EXC in 2013 to great success, and it's still in good shape after a bunch of trips to Moab. I just put one on my 2020 KTM 350 EXC-F and it fits just perfectly.Read All Reviews

The exhaust is lighter and offers a modest increases power over the stock XR650L exhaust and header. I bought both the header and exhaust. It was easy to assemble with high-temp silicon and no exhaust gaskets. After assembling, I noticed the header barely cleared the engine with about 1 mm clearance. Unlike the stock, there was over 2 feet distance between the exhaust frame mount and hanger in the rear, leaving the exhaust poorly supported. Within one year my exhaust broke at the weld. Dealing with FMF warranty was a frustrating waste of time; no discussion, one response and an automated phone system that took me in circles. In the end, they refused to honor their warranty because my exhaust had scratches and a dent in the aluminum. This exhaust may be lighter, but it is definitely not strong enough for a XR650L.Read All Reviews
