Fox Racing has a proven track record of championships with their premium Instinct Boots. They’ve doubled down on that success for 2018 and released the latest Instinct with a set of refinements that push the boot’s performance to another level yet again.

The Instinct’s core features remain the same, so you’re still getting an unrivaled level of comfort right out of the box with zero break in time, the excellent buckle system that uses ball-and-socket type closures, and the dual-pivoting ankle hinges with lockout that prevent hyperextension injuries.

Differences and improvements for the 2018 model start with a new Duratac rubber compound that’s been engineered for the greatest amount of wear resistance and grip. This new rubber makes up the entirety of the sole so it can resist wear from sharp pegs, and it reaches up the entire length of boot’s medial side—giving a high level of grip as well as feedback from the bike. Along with a profile that’s been slimmed down even further, the 2018 Fox Racing Instinct Boots are among the most advanced mx and off-road boots ever offered.
